A MILITARY grenade was tossed at a house linked to a notorious family while a woman and baby slept in Melbourne’s north last year.
The anti-bikie Echo taskforce is probing Middle Eastern crime links to the troubling attack which took place at Yuonga Ct, Lalor at 2.30am on Sunday, November 19.
It is understood the house is linked to the notorious Tiba family.

Police believe a man threw the grenade and watched the explosion from behind a parked car before fleeing in a dark Toyota ute.
The blast caused major damage to the house and brought shocked neighbours into the street.
A woman and child who were asleep in the house at the time of the attack escaped injury.
The grenade has been identified as a Yugoslavian M52.
Detectives have released a digital composite of a man they wish to speak to over the attack.
