ROCK outfit Spiderbait has rallied behind a fan humiliated when a smirking creep urinated on her at a gig.
Belle Nolan, 33, was watching the band perform at a city night spot when the disgraceful incident unfolded.
It’s understood the culprit was booted out of the Russell St venue but security staff never got his details.
Footage has been released of a man police wish to speak with.
Ms Nolan told the Herald Sun: “I hate how it made me feel about myself.”
“It actually made me feel like complete garbage,’’ she said.
“I felt humiliated.”
Spiderbait in a message posted on Facebook said its members were appalled at the offender’s “awful and disgusting behaviour” against a valued fan.
“We are dumbfounded,’’ the group wrote.
“We would really like to find this offensive, urinating f**kstick.
“Belle, we applaud you standing up and taking action. This type of behaviour is absolutely not to be tolerated!!! We are going to stop at NOTHING to find this creep.”
Ms Nolan and a friend were standing to the left of the stage in the front row of live music venue 170 Russell when the depraved reveller unleashed.
“Suddenly through the middle of the song I felt this liquid drip on my leg and my foot,’’ she said.
“At first I thought someone had spilled their drink on me.
“But then I realised it was warm and I turned around and saw this guy fiddling with his fly behind me.
“He just looked right at me — then he kind of shrugged his shoulders and smirked as though it wasn’t a big deal.
“I was completely in shock.
“It wasn’t like he just wet his pants — he exposed himself and seemed to direct the urine.
“People have asked me if it’s possible he was too drunk to go to the toilet — but I don’t think there’s any excuse.
“He knew what he did. And he didn’t care.”
It’s understood another woman was also sprayed with urine.
First Constable Chris Fidler, of Melbourne East police, said the incident which occurred on February 26 at about 10.40pm was being treated as an assault.
“It’s almost belligerent behaviour and shows disregard for other patrons,’’ he said.
A Crime Stoppers alert has been issued.
The man police wish to speak with appeared caucasian, 187cm and aged between 25 and 30.
He had a medium build, short dark hair, dark eyes and was clean shaven.
He wore a purple shirt and dark pants.
