DELTA Goodrem wishes there was more focus on the love she receives as her Voice co-stars continue to their defence of the Aussie pop princess against trolls.

DELTA Goodrem says it’s irresponsible to highlight the bullies who troll her instead of the love and support she receives.

The Voice coach has again copped heavy criticism during this season of the show and is disappointed the keyboard warriors have been given so much oxygen.

Last weekend, everyone around Goodrem, including fellow judges Seal, Boy George and Kelly Rowland, defended her against the online bullies.

She spoke to Confidential first about the problem.

“Highlighting the minority that is poisonous is not the reality that I live,’’ Goodrem said.

“I have beautiful relationships with Australians.

“When people talk about highlighting bullies, it’s actually irresponsible.

“The reality of what I live is a true blessing and people are wonderful to me. I get to work with complete icons.

“The same haters are the ones who have been there all along.

“Just don’t give them so much oxygen.

“It’s incredibly boring to hear that story.

“ I’m going to keep hitting that buzzer and I’m going to find new ways to hit it next year.

“There are so many more important things. I prefer to highlight the love.

“It is a blessing to be on this show.

“Move on, get over it.”

She and Rowland have struck up a strong friendship as “like-minded souls”.

As she prepared for the live shows, which start tonight, Rowland said Goodrem was someone of whom Australia should be proud.

“We had met in passing, but it’s good to come here and meet a good soul above everything,’’ Rowland said.

“She’s incredibly beautiful and talented.

“I’m just happy to share this experience with such a phenomenal woman.

“And I’m genuinely a fan of her voice.”
