NO COACH on The Voice Australia is more enthusiastic than Delta Goodrem, but it’s that exact energetic personality that has made her the target of some vicious fan vitriol.

Returning for its sixth season on Monday, The Voice switched out two of its celebrity judges to enlist the talents of Boy George and Kelly Rowland to join Goodrem and Seal.

And, despite fans seeming to love the two new judges, viewers haven’t held back on the veterans — specifically Goodrem.

This isn’t the first time Twitter has attacked the singer’s judging style which sees her stand up every time she presses the buzzer and passionately dance to some of the contestant’s performances.

Despite the attacks, plenty of fans have gone into bat for the singer instead praising Goodrem for her passion on the show.

The show returned on April 24 for its sixth season to strong ratings.

Last night’s episode pulled a national audience of 1.46 million which earned it second place behind My Kitchen Rules’ 1.89 million.

Goodrem won the show’s last season with her contestant Alfie Arcuri who is preparing to release an album later this year.
