Christmas can be an expensive time for families so Black Friday sales are the perfect opportunity to save big before the festive season.
Herald Sun has scoured some of our biggest shopping centres across Melbourne, including Chadstone, Northland, Highpoint, Emporium and The Glen, to find you the best deals.
The Glen stylist Karinda Mutabazi says the Black Friday sales are set to be bigger and better this year as more stores add deeper discounts for shoppers.
“I definitely think the Black Friday sales have gone crazy in this country. It was traditionally reserved for just America, but it seems Australia has really taken it on board,” she says.
“It seems a great time to shop for end of season, Christmas, any type of holiday gifts. It’s a chance to get in early and get great deals before the Christmas crazy rush comes.”
The Glen, which has recently completed an incredible redevelopment, is home to 240 stores and more than 3000 carparks.
“The No 1 thing is convenience, which I know on days like that when you’re battling to find a space is a massive deal. It’s got everything you need without the hustle and bustle,” Ms Mutabazi says.
