Racing enthusiasts and punters flocked to the heart of South Gippsland for the Ladbrokes Stony Creek Cup on the long weekend. Check out the pictures in the gallery below.

The racing crowd were ready to flock down to the vibrant green hills of South Gippsland to have a racing adventure at the Ladbrokes Stony Creek Cup 2025.

Gates at the Stony Creek Racing Club opened from 11.30am on Sunday, welcoming guests to the world of what country racing is all about.

Racegoers relaxed with refreshing drinks on the expansive lawn, and even got in early to grab a public picnic table under the gum trees.

There was also live music featuring The Times, so punters were overwhelmed with the amount of trackside action, all for the built up hype for the mighty Stony Creek Cup race at 4.35pm, where punters could win up to $85,000 prize money.

Guests were also encouraged to dress to impress, and entered the fashions on the field competition — hosted by Ms Casey Bruce — for their chance to win valuable goods.

And for the kids, there were rides, activities and entertainers on track including Funky Farm and DS Sports.

Guests also joined in on the Furlong Party marquee and enjoyed one of the region’s biggest days with DJ Phil.

Our Herald Sun Bass Coast reporter roamed around to take pictures of all the patrons, who donned their best outfits and posed for the camera.
