Thousands of showgoers flocked through the gates this weekend for the 2024 Swan Hill Show.

Gates swung open at 9am on Friday and Saturday at the Swan Hill Showgrounds, and the place was buzzing.

From the CFA exhibitions showcasing fire safety and skills, to the impressive displays of livestock and horse events, and all the excitement of the rides and sideshow alley, there was something for everyone.

Folks from all over flocked to the Swan Hill Showgrounds, coming together to enjoy the annual spectacular, whether they were there for the entertainment, the community spirit, or just a good day out with family and friends.

President of the Swan Hill District Agricultural and Pastoral Society, Reg Packer, said the show had been very well attended.

“The Melbourne Show running right through the school holidays might have affected our livestock displays and the horses et cetera, but it certainly didn’t effect people coming through the gates,” Mr Packer said

“We had some new entertainers that have had shows that were very, very well attended.”
