Former Bachelor star Abbie Chatfield has “soft launched” her new boyfriend after the pair were spotted kissing in Byron Bay.

Abbie Chatfield appears to have debuted her relationship with Bachelorette star Konrad Bien-Stephens in a cheeky TikTok.
The TV presenter and podcast host made headlines when she was spotted kissing Bien-Stephens at the Beach Hotel in Byron Bay earlier this month – before he had been eliminated from Brooke Blurton’s season of the reality show.
The couple, who fans have already dubbed “Konrabbie”, discussed their respective relationship styles in the clip – and while the 26-year-old didn’t show Konrad’s face, fans noticed his voice.
Comparing her “anxious avoidant” style to his “securely attached”, Abbie captioned the video: “The tragedy of dating a securely attached man.”
“There goes all my hopes of being the victim,” she tells him in the video, to which he replied: “You wanted to be the victim?”
“I didn’t want to be the toxic one,” she responded, prompting him to ask, “Why does anyone have to be toxic?”
Abbie then paused, laughing, and saying, “Oh sweet boy.”
While she’d played coy on their relationship since they were snapped kissing, Konrad confirmed the rumours off the back of his Bachelorette elimination last week.
“We are seeing each other, yes,” the Melbourne carpenter told The Courier Mail’s Confidential.
“We met by chance one night in Byron Bay through a mutual friend. It’s early days but I’m excited for what the future holds.”
He echoed the sentiment in interviews with Yahoo! and Studio 10.
“We filmed The Bachelorette ages ago, production ended back in August … Brooke and I weren’t meant to be and having said that, Abbie is an amazing girl,” he told Yahoo!.
“I’m really, really excited to get to know her and see what the future holds between Abbie and I.”
The 31-year-old said similar things on Studio 10, describing Abbie as “really cool” and that while he was “excited to see where things may go with that … it’s still very early days, I’m not going to jump the gun”.
Days before they were snapped kissing, Abbie had posted to Instagram about a date she’d been on with a mystery man.
Uploading a video of herself sitting in the car next to the mystery male suitor, she asked her followers about whether she should pursue a relationship with him, given that they both share the same star sign.
