ON CAMPUS
Engineering Lane, Parkville
This socially responsible cafe donates $1000 monthly to causes nominated by its customers.
House of Cards also works with Clark St Coffee to create its own blend.

John Medley Building, Parkville
Come for your crepe fix and stay for great coffee. All Press Espresso is on the machine.

Alan Gilbert Building, 161 Barry St, Carlton.
Satisfy sweet tooth cravings with slices and cakes while you enjoy a cup of coffee.

This is the best place to study with a coffee. Find these guys in the library.

Ian Potter Museum of Art, Swanston St, Parkville
The museum may be temporarily closed, but the cafe is still open.

Dr Dax is one of the earliest opening cafes on campus, so pit stop here before your morning study session. They do an awesome lunch, including al la carte and takeaway meals. Think pizza, baguettes, zaatars and rotis.

Society Melbourne (a group of hospitality-based social enterprises) and University of Melbourne opened home.two to help improve youth homelessness. They’ve been serving Wood & Co coffee and vegan waffles since April.

Union House or Glyn Davis Building (Melbourne School of Design), Parkville.
These guys began pumping out coffees at University of Melbourne in 2013. Now they’ve expanded their reach to RMIT City and Monash Caulfield campuses. They roast their own coffee with Bureaux Collective.

Fancy coffee near the law and commerce buildings.

This brewhouse is modelled on the classic American diner with bottomless filter coffee. Coffee beans are roasted onsite and there’s a rotating single origin churned from the machine.
Weekdays: Mon-Fri. 7am-4pm. Saturday: 8am-4pm.
119 Howard St, North Melbourne
Code Black is a short hike from campus, but worth the trek for decent coffee. Think high-grade coffee beans, sourced from international farms and growers, made the way you like.

These guys know both coffee and tea. All coffee is roasted at the Bureaux Collective.
