The fashion at Derby Day has kicked off, and the stars, famous people, and even just casual punters all look very fancy.
Indonesian Princess and model Lindy Klim stunned alongside her 18-year-old daughter Stella. The duo matched in slinky black dresses, and Stella looked just like her glam mum.
The younger sister of pop singer turned swimmer, Cody Simpson, Ali Simpson, has turned up and slayed.
The 26-year-old rocked a mini dress that revealed ample cleavage and wore a trendy bow.
Carrie Bickmore was glowing in a skin-tight gown.
The 43-year-old was looking elegant in a form-fitting cream dress. She made the whole outfit pop by wearing a tiny little black hat.

The 27-year-old wore a black floor-length black gown with matching gloves. She had already told news.com.au that she was “excited” to wear this outfit.
“I feel like my Derby Day outfit this year is a lot more ‘out there’ than my Cup outfit. I’m really excited to wear it, it’s not something you would expect to see at the races. But it’s still on theme,” she said.
“It’s black, which is in line with the black and white dress code. The dress itself is very classic but it’s more the accessories that are very not typical for the races.”
She also revealed Melbourne brand House of Waterstone designed her dress.
“I feel like I’m very creative and when I have a vision for something I know exactly what I want, so it was really great working with Amber who runs House of Waterstone to come up with the designs,” she said.
Bec Judd has outdone herself this year. The 41-year-old looked fabulous in a sleek and over-the-top white outfit.
That included a giant oversized hat and white gloves.
Comedian Andy Lee and his long-time love Rebecca Harding were all smiles.
The 34-year-old influencer looked stunning in a plunging black dress, that she accessorised with a black headband.
Andy Lee matched in a dark grey suit styled with a black tie.
Radio host Lauren Phillips looked gorgeous in a chic black dress with a plunging neckline. She paired the look with sunglasses and was also seen hanging out with her Nova 100 co-host, Jace, who looked dapper in a black suit.

The AFL star went traditional in a black suit, and Lexi wore a gorgeous floor-length white dress and went for the bold accessory of wearing black gloves.

Erin Holland is living proof that you can completely turn things around after a very public mishap.
The model was hailed as the style icon of Derby Day in 2023, with fans describing her black and white off-the-shoulder dress as “stunning” and “gorgeous”.
But just 12 months earlier, the TV host was the unlucky celebrity at Flemington Racecourse who hit headlines after she suffered a wardrobe malfunction.
The 35-year-old became unstuck inside the prestigious Birdcage during the annual festivities when the dress’ thigh split revealed a little more than she bargained for.
In a series of very relatable snaps, Holland – who had been styled by fashion guru Donny Galella – inadvertently flashed her undies to onlookers while moving between the invite-only marquees inside the exclusive enclosure.
As the old adage goes, “it can happen to anyone”, but unfortunately for the former Miss World Australia the mishap occurred in front of a team of waiting photographers.
Understandably, Holland was determined not to fall foul when she returned to the scene of the crime the following year, opting for a white hooded dress which finished at her knee while attending as a guest of Penfold’s.
Her custom mini-dress made by Jaton Couture, styled again by Galella, was paired with a black Bulgari bag and Billini peep-toe shoes as well as black leather gloves.
“This is so hot,” one follower declared at the time, confirming Holland had bounced back from the wardrobe malfunction in 2022.
“Killed it,” another agreed.
Holland is not the first person to fall victim to a wardrobe mishap at Derby Day in 2022, with New Zealand movie director Taika Waititi having to take emergency action to stop his suit pants falling down.
After accidentally giving the “wrong size” to luxury fashion brand Armani, Waititi received pants on the day that were far too big, a crisis that was resolved with a spot of quick thinking.
“I had to do a little emergency stitch down in the toilets and I stitched these (an extra button on his pants) myself,” he said.
