The second series of Sex and the City spinoff And Just Like That... is officially here and while we eagerly await Aidan's big return, die-hard fans are still fixated on Mr Big.

The first series saw us bid a traumatic farewell to Chris Noth's character and the episodes that followed have seen our beloved Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) coming to terms with her new life - a life without her Mr Big.

While it has been some time since the actor's reported cameo at the end of the first series was cut amid sexual assault claims against him, fans are still obsessing over Chris Noth's absence from the series.

Chris Noth hits back at claims he was "iced out" of new series

According to recent reports, Chris has been "iced out" of the new series and by his Sex and the City co-stars since the scandal came to light in 2021.

As reported by RadarOnline.com and New York Post recently, the actor felt as though he deserved an apology for the way he was treated by his former cast and crew.

A source told Radar Online that the 68-year-old star is  "not invited to their parties" and "doesn’t get greeting cards or happy birthday texts.”

They added: “He wonders why SJP and her troupe continue to leave him out in the cold."

Now, the actor himself has hit back at the reports, claiming they're entirely false.

The star took to Instagram to put in his two cents worth.

"I usually don’t respond to this kind of thing. And I do know that people like drama and gossip… but this article by Samantha Ibrahim is absolute nonsense. Just thought you’d like to know," he wrote.

Mr Big makes headlines

Back in December 2021, Chris was accused of sexually assaulting two women.

The alleged incidents are claimed to have occurred in 2004 and 2015 and one of the women involved claims it was the actor's revival in the HBO reboot that prompted her to come forward with the truth about her encounter with the star.

"For so many years, I buried it," she told The Hollywood Reporterat the time.

A second woman also came forward with a similar story from 2015 in New York City. Chris allegedly invited the woman out to dinner and later visited his apartment in Greenwich Village.

Chris released a statement denying the allegations and insisting both encounters were consensual.

"The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false," he said in a statement.

"These stories could've been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross."
