Funky fashion brand Acler is the latest label to defect from Myer to David Jones as the retailer broadens its mix of more affordable contemporary local brands.
Melbourne labels Joslin and Steele and Sydney-based Pasduchas will join Adelaide-born Acler in store and online from August.
Ambassador Jessica Gomes said she loved Acler’s bold colours and shapes and the fact it was an accessible price point.
“I love the attention to detail in each piece and the beautiful shapes and colours,” she said.
“I can’t wait to take the beautiful bright pieces back to LA, I always get comments on my Australian designer pieces.”
David Jones general manager of womenswear and accessories Bridget Veals says Acler’s bold colour palettes, dynamic silhouettes and commitment to innovation drew her to the brand.
