The festival, held from May 10-19, showcases the best of the beer industry through workshops, degustations and live music events.
More than 75,000 people are expected to attend events across Melbourne this year.
Here’s what’s planned for venues in the west:
All Praise the Halloumi
The team at Fury & Son Brewing Company will be honouring their love of halloumi by brewing up three special beers, each designed to match a different halloumi dressing.
Included in the ticket price is three goblets of beer, three pieces of halloumi and an afternoon of live music.

IPA-ppreciation @ Hopheads
If you love IPAs, head along to Hopheads in Point Cook or Altona to get your hands on the good stuff.
Beers and breweries from home and away will be showcased during the week-long froth festival, catering to everyone from novice to full-blown hops fiend.
There will also be several ‘meet the brewers’ events held on site.

Fempocalypse
The chicks at Two Birds Brewing will host a celebration of women making everything from beer to music — on Mother’s Day.
Enjoy delicious beverages from Australia’s first female-owned brewery, Two Birds Brewing, while taking in some live tunes from female and non-binary acts presented by Love Shack Studios.

EUROTRIP
The team at The Park will take you on a contiki tour through their taps — featuring craft beers from across Europe.
A casual dining menu from an award-winning chef will ensure you get the best sustenance to help you enjoy your ales and lagers.

The Great Dodgeball Slam
Get ready to duck, dive and dodge — Two Birds Brewing and BentSpoke Brewing Co have teamed up to host a dodgeball tournament for the ages.
Sixteen teams will battle it out in a series of head-to-head elimination games in the hope of being crowned the Good Beer Week 2019 dodge ball champions.
There’s a prize up for grabs for the winner, plus awards for best team costumes and more.
Round up five mates and enter a team or head along as a spectator (gold coin entry going to Headspace National Youth Mental Health Foundation).

Dog Nation Hop Nation
This bar believes every dog deserves its day and is raising money for The Lort Smith Animal Hospital to help them continue their work.
Swing by Hop Nation Brewing Co with your doggo for a free beer on arrival and stay for more brews and some bites from Chookity Wings.
There will also be live blues tunes pumping — and some free treats for your best furry friend.
