A teenager who allegedly stabbed a boy at Werribee was arrested after an alleged home invasion where an elderly woman was assaulted.
Two machete wielding teens allegedly forced entry to a Rothwell St, Little River property just after midnight on Tuesday and made demands for cash.
The pair, also allegedly armed with a firearm, then assaulted the 73-year-old occupant.
She sustained minor injuries but declined medical assistance.
Detectives have charged a 17-year-old teen and an 18-year-old man from Kingston, Queensland over the alleged incident.
They have further charged the 17-year-old over an alleged stabbing in Werribee on January 29.
Police say he stabbed a 16-year-old boy following an altercation on Overton Rd about 5.50pm.
The boy was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police charged the duo with aggravated home invasion with firearm and offensive weapon, theft of a motor vehicle, and two count of commit indictable offence on bail.
The Queensland man was remanded to appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
The teen will appear before a children’s court at a later date.
