The estate’s Little Growling Cafe is nestled close to Davis reek and has beautiful views of the waterway and nearby walking tracks.

Children will love Tarneit’s treehouse inspired Banyan Park and Aeroplane Park, and the suburb is just 2km from the highly anticipated Wyndham Stadium, which will be home to the Western United Football Club when construction is complete.

A planned barbecue area and oval will add to the area’s amenities.

Tarneit is lucky to boast the best of outer suburban living while still being in easy access to the city.

The Grove is just 6.1km from Tarneit train station, which provides a direct link to the CBD’s Southern Cross station via a 31 minute train ride.

A new on-demand bus service, the Wynbus, is also in the works and will ferry passengers between locations in the outer west.

Tarneit is also located smack bang between two busy international airports, Melbourne's Tullamarine Airport and Avalon Airport.

Tarneit has a number of public and private schools including St Francis of Assisi Catholic Primary School, which is just a 10 minute drive from The Grove.

The school combines a faith based approach to learning while fostering children’s problem solving, literacy, numeracy, social and emotional skills.

It also has an eLearning program designed to teach students smart and safe use of communication technologies.

Tarneit Rise Primary School runs a French program as well as covering subjects from English to maths, science and technology.

Students with disabilities are also catered for at Tarneit Rise through specialist programs.

Thomas Carr College was founded in 1997 enrols secondary school students and offers VET and VCAL subjects as well as VCE.

It has a careers hub for students and their families that provides useful advice on job and study pathways.

The coeducational Al-Taqwa College is also close to The Grove and enrols students from primary school right through to secondary.

It has its own multi-sporting complex as well as science and IT labs and a home economics room where students can learn basic cooking.

Al-Taqwa runs an exchange program with its sister school in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The school prides itself on providing students with a quality education that also fosters Islamic values and beliefs.

Greenvue Kindergarten caters to children aged three to five years old.

SPORT

There’s something to satisfy lovers of all sporting codes ranging from cricket to football and soccer.

The Grove is just 6km from the planned Wyndham Stadium, a 15,000 seat sport ground that will serve as the home of the Wyndham United Football Club when construction is complete.

And if that’s not enough, an elite $25 million training facility including three pitches and seating for 5000 spectators will be built adjacent to the new stadium.

Other sport clubs nearby include the Tarneit Central Cricket Club, Tarneit Titans Football, the Tarneit United Soccer Club and the Meehan Tennis Academy.

Werribee River Trail runs from the junction of Davis Creek and the Werribee River to the Federation Trail along the Princes Freeway.
