A man has been rushed to hospital after suffering significant burns to his upper body in an explosion at a home in Melbourne’s west.
Emergency services were rushed to the Tiverton Terrace address in Werribee shortly after 1am on Saturday April 16.
Paramedics treated a man in his 20s for serious burns to his upper body before he was taken to The Alfred hospital in a serious but not life-threatening condition.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said they were called to the scene after a triple-0 caller reported an explosion at the home.
Victoria Police confirmed they attended the address but said the fire was not being treated as suspicious.
