A cherry picker had to be called in to save a Werribee man stuck on top of his garage after he fell from a second storey roof.
The save was successfully made about 7pm on Tuesday night after the man lost balance while installing a TV antenna and fell onto the adjacent garage at his Cornerstone estate property, sustaining minor leg injuries.
Wyndham Vale and Werribee Fire Brigades were among the local authorities that arrived within five minutes of the incident and helped bring the man off the roof via a ladder platform brought over from Geelong.
Authorities rescued the man within an hour and transported him to the Western Hospital in a stable condition.
