Man fighting for life after being hit by car in Brooklyn

A young man is fighting for life after he was hit by a car in Melbourne’s west. Now police need help to identify him.

An unidentified man is fighting for life after he was hit by a car in Melbourne’s west.

The man, aged in his 20s, was rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries after he was hit by a Kia wagon on Geelong Rd, Brooklyn, about 10.35pm on Monday.

The driver of the car, a 39-year-old Kalkallo woman, was uninjured and stopped at the scene to help.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash to come forward.
