A motorbike rider has been killed and a female passenger taken to hospital after a crash in Hoppers Crossing.

A motorbike rider has been killed after a crash in Hoppers Crossing.

Police have been told the motorcyclist and their female passenger came off their bike on Guinane Ave about 1.30pm on Wednesday October 4.

Sadly, the yet-to-be formally identified rider died at the scene.

The female passenger was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be established and the investigation is ongoing.
