A group of teenagers have been charged after an alleged wild crime spree across Melbourne’s south eastern suburbs on Good Friday.

Five teenagers have been arrested and charged over an alleged crime spree which involved car theft and armed robbery in Melbourne’s southeast on Good Friday.

It is alleged the group started their spree by stealing a black BMW X3 and a silver Audi Q3 at a Kooyong property on Moralla Rd at about 2.25am.

It is alleged the group then attended a Letchworth Ave, Brighton East property at 3.45am armed with golf clubs.

The group allegedly smashed windows and vehicles at the property before fleeing in a red Mazda.

Police spotted the Audi on Friday afternoon.

The vehicle came to a stop on Princes Highway in Pakenham just after 3pm when police deployed stop sticks.

The five teenagers are aged between 13 and 16.

It is also alleged the group was involved in several armed robberies in Knox.

Police have said the search for the allegedly stolen BMW and its occupants remains ongoing.

A 13-year-old boy has been charged with aggravated burglary, attempted armed robbery, two counts of theft of a motor vehicle and reckless conduct endangering serious injury.

A 14-year-old boy has been charged with reckless driving, two counts of theft of a motor vehicle and reckless conduct endangering serious injury.

Those three boys have been remanded and will face children’s court at a later late.

A 15-year-old boy and 16-year-old girl have been charged with theft of a motor vehicle.

These two have been bailed to appear at a Children’s Court at a later date.

Police are looking to speak to anyone who saw or has dashcam footage of the Audi, BMW or red Mazda driving in the Kooyong, Glen Eira, Clayton South, The Basin and Boronia Junction areas on April 7 between 2am and 4.30am.
