Police have released CCTV footage of three brazen burglars that used a van to smash through a garage door in Williamstown, stealing a Mercedes Benz.
The three men tried to break into the Pasco St property about 11pm before leaving unsuccessfully on Saturday, January 15.
About 30 minutes later the trio returned, using a white Toyota Hilux van to smash open the garage door, with one offender then driving away in the owner’s Mercedes Benz C63.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said investigators from the Hobsons Bay crime investigation unit had released the footage in the hope someone may recognise the offenders or the vehicles.
