Traffic controller injured in alleged Laang hit-and-run
Footage has captured the shocking moment a traffic controller was allegedly hit near Warrnambool by a driver who fled the scene.

A traffic controller in the state’s south-west was injured after he was struck by a car in an alleged hit-and-run.
The man was guiding traffic near roadworks on Cobden-Warrnambool Road in Laang on Friday, January 21, when a vehicle crossed into the oncoming lane and struck the worker at about 3.50pm.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said the 26-year-old man was treated at the scene for minor injuries but did not require hospitalisation.
“The vehicle briefly stopped before driving off towards Cobden,” she said.
“Police located the vehicle a short time later in Ecklin South and the driver was arrested.”
The spokeswoman said the alleged driver, a 23-year-old Camperdown man was interviewed by police and released pending further enquiries.
“Anyone with information, or dashcam footage, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers,” she said.
