Emmanuel College has celebrated the success of its students, after the release of the ATAR results for the year and other special achievements.
The top three students in VCE ATAR — who are all good friends — shared the memorable moment of finding out their scores together on Monday morning.
Jace Nepean was awarded the Dux of the school, followed by Zack Houlihan as runner up Dux and William Pennington as third runner up Dux.
Principal Peter Morgan said the close group of friends all “performed incredibly well” in their results and he was proud of all of the Year 12s in completing their studies and achieving what they had.
The winner of the Victorian Premier’s Reading Challenge was awarded to Madison Ness, who said she “lost count” of how many books she read during the year.
Student Lokesh Narra, who took home the Year 7 Scholarship of the Year Award, said he was proud of all his efforts, and the Information Technology Award was presented to Zoe Graham.
VCE results 2022 by school: Students celebrate results
An award for Sustainability and Environment was received by Olivia Cope, the Biology Prize was won by Satwickar Sivasankar and the Languages Award for French was received by Chetanna Wakefield.
The Academic Excellence Award was crowned by several students including Emily Benson, Charlotte Dumesny, Lucy Shiells and Haley Warburton.
Student Jenna Winnen was also recognised for her creative artwork that will be hung up on the school walls of Emmanuel College.
