Emmanuel College ended another school year on a high note by celebrating the success and achievements of its Year 12 students.

It is the first time in two years since the 150-year-old school has been able to host a graduation ceremony without any pandemic restrictions.

The event was run at full capacity.

Director of Senior School Shane Smith said he was proud of the graduates’ efforts.

“This journey has seen our students navigate through a global pandemic and manage the challenges of two years of remote learning,” Mr Smith said.

“We are very proud of our students’ achievements. The graduation acknowledges their journey and allows us as a community to appreciate and applaud their growth and development through their education at Emmanuel College.

“Their resilience, persistence and hard work is an amazing reflection of the group.”

Principal Peter Morgan congratulated the students on “crossing the finish line and completing the race under conditions that previous generations of graduates did not experience”.
