A man has died after a horrific truck rollover in Victoria’s southwest in the early hours of Wednesday.

It is understood a truck rolled over on Sisters-Garvoc at Garvoc about 12.30am.

The male driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.

Paramedics were called to the scene at about 4.50am.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.

It is the sixth death on southwest roads this year compared to two deaths at the same time last year.
