Police are still looking for the three alleged offenders behind the Lalor attack which saw a teenager robbed at gunpoint and a father threatened with a shotgun.

Victorian Police confirmed they are still searching for the offenders, believed to be at least three people and a mix of men and women, as well as a stolen car.

The investigation is still ongoing with no updates on the attack which rocked the Lalor community on Tuesday evening.

Earlier this week, police detailed how a crime spree began from a dispute around 9pm in Maguire St, Lalor on Tuesday.

Three offenders are alleged to have confronted a 41-year-old man with a shotgun at his family home on Maguire St where threats were alleged to have been made.

The alleged victim drove away from the property with the offenders leaving in a vehicle believed to be a stolen Nissan X-Trail.

After some time driving around Lalor, the 41-year-old victim ended up behind the Nissan on Blessington Ave.

The trio then fired a shot from the Nissan into the victim’s vehicle before the two cars collided.

The trio fled and the victim went to a nearby home for refuge. Police believe the two parties are not known to each other at this stage.

It is understood that the alleged offenders stole a grey Skoda Sedan from an 18-year-old Lalor man following an altercation and brandishing the shotgun before fleeing.

Police are asking any residents who may have footage or information about the incident to come forward.
