VCE results 2024: Victorian duces reveal their ATAR scores
The top students of each school in Victoria have been announced. Find out who got the highest ATAR in your school.

The anxious wait is finally over for the class of 2024, with VCE results released from 7am Thursday.
Students have been celebrating as they unlock their scores.
Check out how your school went and who the top achieving students were.
The full VCE honour roll has also been revealed, with every study score above 40 named.

Academy of Mary Immaculate
Harper Smith has been named as College Dux of Academy of Mary Immaculate with a massive ATAR score of 99.65.
Harper said she was “very shocked and happy” when she received the news, setting her sights now on studying a Bachelor of Arts with a Diploma of Maths at University of Melbourne.
Harper scored perfect scores in Drama and General Maths.
Nearly 30 per cent of the cohort achieved an ATAR of above 90.
Aitken College
Aitken College school captain Devmi Peiris led the way in 2024, earning the title as the school’s dux with a score of 99.35.
Devmi completed accounting, economics, English, maths methods and specialist maths as well as psychology — which she completed as a 3/4 last year.
Devmi aspires to study commerce at Melbourne University.
Alice Miller School
The dux of Alice Miller School in Macedon was Aiden Ford with an incredible ATAR of 99.05.
Alkira Secondary College
Alkira Secondary College’s 2024 dux is Rehan Fazil with an ATAR of 97.2.
Rehan is hoping to study Engineering at Monash University.
Al-Taqwa College
Daania Syed Ibrahim was revealed as the dux of Al-Taqwa College in Truganina.
Daania achieved a score of 98.5 and was one of six students at the school to get a score above 90, with 80 per cent of the cohort achieving an ATAR above 70.
Ashwood High School
With an ATAR of 99.15 Yuhang (Bruce) Li was named the dux of Ashwood High School.
Assumption College
School captain Ellie Borg has been unveiled as the dux of Assumption College, Kilmore.
She also received the Maria Hempenstall Marist Excellence award for 2024.
Assumption Kilmore had six students who achieved a score above 90.
Year 10 student Olivia Kelly also became the school’s first student to complete a Year 12 subject, achieving a study score of 46 in biology.
Avila College
Natasha Forster was named dux of Avila College in Mount Waverley with an ATAR of 99.1.
Natasha was described as a “passionate musician, persuasive debater and talented artist” in the school newsletter released on Thursday.
11 per cent of the cohort achieved a scored of more than 95, with a median study score of 36 in English.
Auburn High School
With an impressive ATAR of 99.35 Ethan Wiliams was revealed as the dux of Auburn High School.
Ave Maria College
Abbey Kerr was announced as the 2024 dux of Ave Maria College in Aberfeldie.
Alyssa Carusso was the dux proximus with an ATAR of 97.35.
It comes as nearly 20 per cent of the cohort achieved an ATAR of more than 90.
Bacchus Marsh Grammar
The Bacchus Marsh Grammar dux for 2024 was Memphis Menz who achieved an ATAR of 99.45.
Baimbridge College
Baimbridge College in Hamilton announced Victor Samuel as the school’s 2024 dux.
It comes as seven per cent of the Year 12 cohort achieved an ATAR of more than 85, with nearly 30 per cent of the school’s Year 11 students also taking up a Unit 3/4 subject.
Bairnsdale Secondary College
Albert Van Der Kaap was the dux of Bairnsdale Secondary College with an ATAR of 95.4.
Kayla Jennison was revealed as the VCE Vocational Major dux.
Bannockburn College
Sarina Potter was revealed as the 2024 dux of Bannockburn P-12 College, with a score of 91.1.
Ballarat Christian College
Seth Coventry was the highest ATAR achiever at Ballarat Christian College.
This year Seth completed English, maths methods, biology, psychology and chemistry.
Seth said he hoped to study medicine.
His advice to students heading into year 12 next year was to “not worry too much and do your best, it will all work out somehow in the end”.
The school did not disclose Seth’s score.
Ballarat Clarendon College
Micah Hickingbotham achieved an amazing ATAR of 99.75 to be crowned dux of Ballarat Clarendon College.
More than 90 students at the school received an ATAR of above 90.
Ballarat High School
Ballarat High dux Maxine Yu recorded an ATAR of 98.75. She was one of seven students at the school who scored in the 90s.
This is the third year running the school has had an average study score of 29.
Bayside P-12 College
The dux for Bayside P-12 College was Ahmad (Ayan) Owais who received 96.55 ATAR.
Bayswater Secondary College
Kellan Taylor has been named dux of Bayswater Secondary College with an ATAR of 88.
He’s planning on a career in law.
Bayview College
Emelia Clements has been named the 2024 dux of Bayview College.
“We are extremely proud of our high achievers and wish all our students well as they begin their lives beyond Bayview College, as leaders and change makers in the community,” the school said in a statement online.
Beaconhills College
Charlotte Moseley was named dux of Beaconhills College for 2024, with an ATAR of 99.4.
She was one of three students at the school to achieve an ATAR of more than 99.
It comes as 26 students at the school scored above 90.
Beaumaris Secondary College
Isaac R was named dux of Beaumaris Secondary College with a score of 98.4.
Beechworth Secondary College
Samantha Pearce was named dux of Beechworth Secondary College.
Sam is a passionate arts and humanities student, studying english, legal studies, history, literature and extended investigations through CHES this year.
Belgrave Heights Christian School
The dux for 2024 at Belgrave Heights Christian School was Amy Greenwood who achieved an ATAR score of 96.35.
Jacinta Morrison was given the VCE VM high achiever award.
Bellarine Secondary College
Lara Truong received an ATAR of 95.95, making her dux of Bellarine Secondary College.
Belmont High School
Ava Masljak was named the dux of Belmont High School in Geelong, with a score of 95.15.
Bendigo Senior Secondary College
Abbie Correll was named dux of Bendigo Senior Secondary College with an amazing 99.05 ATAR.
Abbie achieved a perfect score in English Language and 47 in Legal Studies.
The school’s other top scorers were Ned Howie and Alex Sparkes who scored 98.45 and 97.15 respectively.
Berwick Secondary College
Ariel Levy was unveiled as Berwick Secondary College’s 2024 dux on Thursday with a score of 95.20.
Ariel aspires to pursue a career in biomedicine.
Bialik College
Aaron Patishman achieved a score of 99.9 to become the dux of Bialik College in Hawthorn.
Bialik had seven students achieve a score of 99, with the cohort’s median ATAR being 91.25.
More than 30 per cent of the cohort received an ATAR above 95, with 56 per cent scoring above 90.
Braemar College
Braemar College dux Dempsey Smith received an ATAR of 99.55.
Brauer Secondary College
Brauer College’s 2024 dux is Annalise Lovric with an ATAR of 94.65.
Annalise is applying to study optometry at Deakin University.
Brentwood Secondary College
Rei Sato has been named the 2024 Brentwood Secondary College dux with an ATAR of 99.85.
“In the years ahead, I aspire to pursue a career in data science, connecting with my passion for mathematics to decode the world of big data,” he said.
“My goal is to support technological innovation to develop systems that positively transform our daily experiences with technology, which has become a crucial part of modern living.
“In 2025, I hope to maintain a well-balanced life, dedicating time to enjoying moments with family, friends, and my dog, and also studying, while also pursuing my personal hobbies.”
Bright P-12 College
Bright P-12 College dux Saskia Heuperman earned an ATAR of 98.2.
After a well-deserved gap year of travel and work, Saskia intends to pursue a Bachelor of Sports and Exercise Science and a Bachelor of Sports Nutrition at a Victorian university.
Her ultimate goal is to complete a Master of Dietetics and register with Sports Dietitians Australia.
Brighton Grammar School
Joint duces Christopher Chhour and Leonard Shen, attained perfect ATARs of 99.95, and are two of only 41 students in the state to do so.
Brighton Secondary College
Dux of Brighton Secondary College, Anastasia Zaytseva, achieved an ATAR of 99.80.
She hopes to study medicine.
Broadford Secondary College
Broadford Secondary College school vice captain Dominik McKinlay was named the 2024 dux with an ATAR of 91.15.
He hopes to study biomedical science at LaTrobe University.
Brunswick Secondary College
Thi Vu, who is interested in studying medicine, led the way at Brunswick Secondary College with an ATAR of 98.95.
Buckley Park College
School captain Vivian Ta has been named the Buckley Park College dux with a score of 91.10.
Vivian, who often can’t stand for more than an hour at a time due to medical conditions that she experiences and needed to use a wheelchair for a period of about two years until early last year, said she was “surprised” by her score.
Towards the end of year 9, Vivian was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) and functional neurological disorder (FND).
“I was fainting in school a lot because my brain can’t communicate with my senses very well,” she said.
“After a couple of hours of concentration, my brain can shut off and I can get big headaches.”
After the symptoms of Vivian’s FND worsened when she was in year 11 in 2022, Vivian completed two more year 12 subjects this year on top of three last year to attain her VCE.
Vivian now hopes to enrol in a double degree studying law and international relations at Monash University, aspiring to work as a diplomat to the United Nations.
Principal Harold Cheung said Vivian’s successful completion of VCE was due to her “hard work, commitment and dedication”.
Camberwell Girls Grammar School
Camberwell Girls Grammar School’s 2024 dux is Katherine Mason, with an ATAR of 99.8.
“A versatile achiever, she excelled academically across multiple disciplines, including chemistry, mathematics and french,” a Camberwell Girls Grammar School spokeswoman said.
“Katherine inspired her peers through her enthusiasm for innovation, fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking culture.
“Her active involvement in house dance, music and GSV sport reflects her holistic approach to education and personal growth.”
Katherine hopes to travel and work in the field of science or engineering.
Camberwell Grammar School
Three Camberwell Grammar students, Joel Cheok, Jerry Jin and Chris Lu, received a perfect ATAR of 99.95.
Joel Cheok achieved five perfect study scores of 50.
Camberwell Grammar School headmaster Dr Paul Hicks said the schools results were equal to their best in history.
“After all the stresses and uncertainty about the delivery of this year’s VCE examinations … I am very pleased to congratulate our Class of 2024 for their outstanding VCE results this year.”
“These students, apart from being exceptional students, were actively involved in the full life of the school and worked very hard at their studies,” he said.
Camperdown College
Camperdown College has announced Elyse Cross as the college VCE dux and Riley Stephenson the VCE VM dux.
Elyse has successfully balanced her study commitments with fantastic results across all of her studies.
Meanwhile, Riley has been a leading presence around the college in their role as school captain.
Caroline Chisholm Catholic College
Caroline Chisholm Catholic College 2024 dux is Brandon Tan, who received an ATAR of 99.25.
Brandon plans to complete an IT degree at university, focusing on developing innovative solutions and advancing his skills in programming and technology.
He wants to contribute to cutting edge projects in the technology industry and make a meaningful impact in the IT field.
Carey Baptist Grammar School
The VCE dux for Carey Baptist Grammar School is Kevin Chen, who has scored 99.55.
“I’m considering studying medicine at Monash University next year, but I’m also still exploring the opportunities that lie ahead before deciding which pathway I take,” he said.
Carrum Downs Secondary College
Carrum Downs secondary College’s dux is Sarthak Khaloa.
He received an ATAR of 95 and hopes to study engineering at Monash University.
Casey Grammar School
The dux of Casey Grammar School, Hannah Malinowski, achieved an ATAR of 98.1.
17 per cent of students at the school received an ATAR of 90 or above.
Casey Grammar School principal, Fiona Williams, says the 2024 VCE results reflect the school’s increasingly strong academic performance.
“Everyone at Casey Grammar School is immensely proud of these Year 12 students and their latest VCE results,” she said.
“They really are a cause for celebrations and congratulations.”
Casterton Secondary College
Abbey Munro has been named the 2024 dux for Casterton Secondary College.
Cathedral College Wangaratta
Cathedral College Wangaratta dux Bhavaghna Sangars received an ATAR of 99.6.
Catherine McAuley College
Catherine McAuley College dux Harry Johnson received an ATAR of 99.2.
Catholic College Sale
Catholic College Sale’s 2024 dux is Emmet Hobbs.
He received an ATAR of 98.05.
Catholic College Wodonga
The Catholic College Wodonga dux is Havana Selvey with an ATAR of 98.4.
Catholic Ladies’ College
Catholic Ladies’ College Eltham Dux is Sienna Green. Sienna achieved a score of 98.15 which included a perfect score of 50 in health and human development.
“In 2025, I am looking forward to pursuing new opportunities at university, studying a Bachelor of Secondary Education,” Sienna said.
“The dedicated teachers at my school, Catholic Ladies College, have left an indelible mark on me, inspiring my desire to share the value of education with future generations.
“I am so excited to begin my journey towards becoming a teacher.”
Caulfield Grammar School
Aidan Psomas is the 2024 Caulfield Grammar School dux, receiving an ATAR of 99.80.
Chairo Christian School
The Chairo Christian School Pakenham 2024 dux is Sophie Langner.
She received an ATAR of 95.9 and plans to study occupational therapy at ACU.
Sophie studied English, biology, general mathematics, and outdoor and environmental studies, having already completed psychology in Year 11.
She achieved a perfect study score of 50 in outdoor and environmental studies, as well as study scores over 40 in English and psychology.
Charlton College
School captain Dayne Bartlett has been named the 2024 Charlton College dux.
She achieved strong study scores in English, accounting, mathematical methods, biology, health and human development and community services.
Cheltenham Secondary College
Cheltenham Secondary College’s school captain Anastasia Karagianni received an ATAR of 96.9 and has been named dux.
Anastasia is passionate about giving back to her community through extensive volunteer work with youth mental health.
She was recognised for her commitment to raising awareness of the mental health challenges faced by immigrant students through her work as a member of the Youth Leaders program at the Mental Health Foundation Australia.
This work led to her being awarded the 2024 Australian Mental Health Youth of the Year.
She is looking to pursue a pathway in the biomedical field with a potential interest in becoming an embryologist in the IVF field.
Christian College Geelong
Christian College’s dux for 2024 is Martin Dean with an ATAR of 98.55.
Christway College
Samuel and Kaiya are Christway College Kingston’s (previously Heatherton Christian College) 2024 duxes.
They achieved ATARs of 99.2
Clonard College
The Clonard College 2024 dux Khushi Madaan received an ATAR of 97.85.
Coburg High School
Coburg High School’s dux Dani Macintosh received an ATAR of 99.55.
Cornish College
Cornish College’s 2024 dux has been named as Alexander Logan. He received an ATAR of 97.6.
“In the coming years I plan to pursue my passion in engineering, biology and chemistry at university and further my studies and knowledge,” he said.
“In the longer term, I hope that this will allow me to make a difference and help improve the future through innovation.”
Cobden Technical School
Cobden Technical School’s dux of the 2024 VCE cohort was Samuel Leeson.
He studied English, general mathematics. business mathematics and VET engineering studies.
He had applied to study engineering at Deakin University.
Samuel has also received the ADF Future Innovators Stem award and the WestVic VET top student award.
Cobram Anglican Grammar
Cobram Anglican Grammar’s 2024 dux Clair Stillard received an ATAR of 84.15.
Copperfield College
Copperfield College dux Declan Burt received an ATAR of 99.15.
College principal Nick Adamou said Declan consistently received outstanding results throughout his studies.
“His passion for learning, combined with a strong commitment to studies, has set him apart as a standout student,” he said.
“Declan has displayed remarkable intellectual curiosity and dedication, always striving to expand his knowledge and achieve his uttermost best.
“In addition to academic achievements, Declan has proven to be an excellent ambassador for the college, embodying the college values with pride and integrity both within and beyond the classroom settings. His humility, modesty, and unwavering support for others makes him a respected figure among peers and teachers alike. Whether offering guidance to fellow students or engaging in school activities, he consistently fosters a positive and collaborative environment, leaving a lasting impact on all.
Declan hopes to study aerospace engineering.
Corryong College
Sarah Jarvis has been named the 2024 Corryong College dox with an ATAR of 90.1.
Covenant College
This year’s Covenant College dux was Samuel Johannes. He received a 94.75.
Craigieburn Secondary College
Craigieburn Secondary College’s 2024 dux is Agampreet Singh Sachdeva, he received an ATAR of 91.7.
He hopes to study commerce and major in actuarial science.
Cranbourne Secondary College
The Cranbourne Secondary College 2024 dux is Jazib Khalid. he received an ATAR of 86.75.
Damascus College Ballarat
Damascus College Ballarat’s 2024 dux is Zoe Newman.
She achieved an ATAR of 96.35
Dandenong High School
Sally Wu is the 2024 dux for Dandenong High School.
She achieved an ATAR of 99.65.
Daylesford College
College dux Scout Kinnear received an ATAR of 97.55.
Currently travelling through Indonesia, the top student was also the school’s captain this year.
Scout also pursued advanced studies with the Centre for Higher Education Studies (CHES), focusing on specialist maths.
De La Salle College
The dux of De La Salle College is Joseph Valcanas.
He achieved an ATAR of 98.35.
Dimboola Memorial Secondary College
Jaidyn Scott is the 2024 dux for Dimboola Memorial Secondary College.
Donald High School
Jacob Donnellon is Donald High School’s 2024 dux.
He achieved an ATAR of 96.20, which included a study score of 47 for physical education (placing him in the top 1 per cent of students for this study).
Jacob intends to study a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at Monash University in 2025.
Doncaster Secondary College
Christian Varrasso is the dux of Doncaster Secondary College with an ATAR score of 99.85.
“He is an outstanding young man who has worked very hard over many years, resulting in his exceptional outcomes,” principal Glenn Morris said.
Christian hopes to study engineering in 2025.
Dromana College
Savannah Coghlan has been named the Dromana Secondary College 2025 dux. She received an ATAR of 98.
“In 2025 I hope to begin the pathway to becoming a doctor of medicine, with ambitions of working overseas to deliver healthcare where it is needed most,” she said.
“The score I received has been a boost of encouragement to show that with hard work I can achieve this goal.”
Drouin Secondary College
The 2024 Drouin Secondary College dux is Dwanye Dawson.
East Doncaster Secondary College
Katrina Syjongtian is the 2024 dux for East Doncaster Secondary College.
She achieved an ATAR of 99.3.
Katrina is aiming to study a Bachelor of Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne.
East Loddon P-12 College
Char Sinclair is the 2024 dux for East Loddon P-12 College.
She achieved an ATAR of 84.9.
Char plans to take an ADF gap year in 2025 — a chance for young people to get a feel for military life before potentially signing up — and then she’ll consider officially joining the ADF or police force in 2026.
Alternatively, Char is considering studying teaching.
Echuca College
Echuca College captain Tegan Lenne has been named the 2024 college dux.
She received an ATAR 95.6
She looks forward to studying science at Melbourne University in 2025.
Edenhope College
Edenhope College captain Mollie Reed has been announced as dux of the school.
“We wish her the best of luck as she ventures off to university next year,” a school social media post read.
Edgars Creek Secondary College
Heifa Zeki is the dux of Edgars Creek Secondary College, with an ATAR of 95.40.
“Your hard work, dedication, and determination throughout this challenging journey has been reflected in this amazing achievement,” an Edgars Creek social media post read congratulating Ms Zeki on becoming dux of the school.
Eltham College
Kai Thompson achieved a score of 99.85, giving him the honour and title of dux of Eltham College for 2024.
Kai joined Eltham College in Year 10.
In addition to his VCE studies he completed an undergraduate mathematics course through the University of Melbourne Extension Program.
Emmaus College
Madison Hsu has been revealed as dux of Emmaus College for 2024 with an ATAR of 99.5
Euroa Secondary College
Euroa Secondary College’s Ellie Bott has been named college dux.
Elisabeth Murdoch College
Tara Haley is the Elisabeth Murdoch College dux for 2024.
She achieved an ATAR of 98.05.
Tara plans to attend ACU to study a Bachelor of Psychology with an embedded Honours
year.
She hopes to take minors in areas of neuroscience and criminology in conjunction with psychology and see where this takes her.
Emerald Secondary College
Savannah Graham has been revealed as the 2024 dux of Emerald Secondary College with an ATAR of 98.1.
Savannah, who is currently on holiday in Bali, hasn’t quite decided on what she will study in 2025, but is determined to go to university.
“Savannah, was an incredible role model for her peers and achieved outstanding results throughout her schooling due to her unrelenting hard-work and dedication,” an Emerald Secondary School spokesman said
Emmanuel College
Emmanuel College, Warrnambool student Satwika Sivasankar, is the school’s dux for 2024, achieving an outstanding 99.1 ATAR.
FCJ College Benalla
Charles Thompson is FCJ College’s 2024 dux.
He achieved an ATAR of 88.8
Fintona Girls’ School
Amelia Graham, Maggie Little and Saria Ratnam are Fintona Girls’ School’s 2024 duces.
They each achieved an ATAR of 99.85
Firbank Grammar
Hannah Gibbs is the Firbank Grammar dux for 2024.
She achieved an ATAR of 99.85.
This was followed by proxime Roey Wu with an impressive ATAR of 99.60.
The school also gave honourable mentions to Hanna Graham (99.45), Eve Wang (99.40) and Grace Lewis (99.05).
Footscray High School
A future in the biomedical sciences beckons for Footscray High School dux Ava Harpur.
Ava achieved an outstanding ATAR of 97.45 and studied English language, chemistry, physics and specialist mathematics this year, after completing biology and mathematical methods in Year 11.
Ava said she enjoyed several of her VCE classes, particularly chemistry.
“I’m just thankful for my Year 12 teachers because they all did a really good job,” she said.
Foster Secondary College
Eva Bassed is the 2024 dux for Foster Secondary College.
Frankston High School
David Hanna is the 2024 dux for Frankston High School.
He achieved an ATAR of 99.40.
David is planning on attending University to study medicine/science, with some travelling in the next couple of years. We are so very proud of David and can’t wait to see his impact on the world.
Galen Catholic College
Edyn Hill is the 2024 dux for Galen Catholic College.
She achieved an ATAR of 97.9.
She isn’t sure where, but she wants to study psychology and hopefully branch out into sports psychology.
Edyn has a passion for track and field and did very well with her running events over her time at the college.
She attributes the balance of her dedication to both physical activity and academic work to her success.
Geelong Baptist College
At Geelong Baptist College, William Shane Boyes scored the highest ATAR of 95.
Geelong Grammar School
At Geelong Grammar, the top VCE performer was Charlie Cook, from Gheringhap, and he achieved an ATAR of 99.1.
Geelong High School
Geelong High School’s 2024 dux Lily West enjoyed secondary school so much that she now wants to become a teacher herself – and with an ATAR of 97.76, no doubt she’ll be in high demand.
Geelong Lutheran College
Chloe Lee was the school dux this year with an ATAR of 96.
Genazzano FCJ College
Ines Brear is Genazzano FCJ College’s 2024 dux.
She achieved an ATAR of 99.8.
Gilson College
Gilson College’s 2024 dux is Maria Hanoun.
Maria achieved an ATAR of 99.1
Gippsland Grammar School
Grace Ng is the 2024 Gippsland Grammar School dux.
She achieved an ATAR of 99.85.
Glen Waverley Secondary College
Xiaochen Yu is the 2024 dux for Glen Waverley Secondary College.
She achieved an ATAR of 99.6.
She is hoping to study science at Melbourne University, including pursuing her talent in mathematics and then follow a pathway into medicine.
Gleneagles Secondary College
Fadi Abouissa is the 2024 dux for Gleneagles Secondary College.
He achieved an ATAR of 97.35.
Fadi is the first ever EAL (English as an Additional Language) student to be awarded dux of the college.
He said he hoped to “settle in and excel in a Science and Commerce Double Degree at Monash University”.
After graduating, he wants to run a business in the science and medical field.
Good News Lutheran College
Anagha Gupta has been announced as the 2024 dux of Good News Lutheran College.
They achieved an ATAR of 99.55.
Good Shepherd College Hamilton
Amelia Thomas is the 2024 dux for Good Shepherd College Hamilton.
The school did not release her ATAR.
Goulburn Valley Grammar School
Sarah Abdulamir, Jackson Barthold, Anoushka Wijesingha and Felix Dom are the joint duxes for Goulburn Valley Grammar.
They all achieved ATARs above 98.
Greater Shepparton Secondary College
Matthew Hanns is the 2024 dux for Greater Shepparton Secondary College.
He achieved an ATAR of 98.1
Greensborough College
Madeleine Fotinos is Greensborough College’s dux of 2024.
She achieved an ATAR of 90.
Hallam Secondary College
Tayla Grizancic is the 2024 dux of Hallam Secondary College.

Rebekah Wundke has been named the 2024 dux of Holy Trinity Lutheran College, with an ATAR of 99.
Rebekah plans to move to Adelaide to study speech pathology.
Homestead Senior Secondary College
Homestead Senior Secondary College Dux is Lachlan Dai, with an ATAR of 98.1.
Lachlan wishes to undertake biomedicine through the University of Melbourne next year.
Horsham College
The dux of Horsham College for 2024 is Lucy Scott, with an ATAR of 95.8.
Lucy will be applying to be accepted into a Bachelor of Business at the University of South Australia.
Next year, she looks forward to exploring a new chapter in her life and living at a residential college.
Hume Anglican Grammar School
Meron Nona, one of Hume Anglican Grammar School’s captains, has been named dux for 2024.
Meron received an ATAR score of 99.55 — the highest ATAR received at the school in 13 years.
He also received three merits and perfect study scores of 50 for the subjects of biology, general mathematics and chemistry.
Meron is hoping to study medicine at Monash University in the future.
Hume Central Secondary College
Ayesheh Noori, with an ATAR score of 95.5, has been named the 2024 dux of Hume Central Secondary College in Broadmeadows.
Ayesheh plans to enrol in the University of Melbourne’s biomedicine programme and wants to work as a cardio surgeon after receiving her medical degree.

Sanula Pathiranage has been named the 2024 dux of Huntingtower School, with an ATAR of 99.8.
Sanula aims to study medicine at Monash in 2025.

Oguzhan Guven has been named the 2024 dux of Ilim College Dux, with an ATAR of 97.75.
Ivanhoe Girls’ Grammar School
Caitlyn Tao, with an impressive ATAR of 99.8, has been named the 2024 dux of Ivanhoe Girls’ Grammar School.
Principal Narelle Umbers said the school was “incredibly proud of VCE students at Ivanhoe Girls’ well before the release of their VCE results”.

Tom looks forward to the “freedom and opportunities of university life”.

Asher earned the dux title for 2024 at John Paul College, scoring an exceptional ATAR score of 99.65.

2024 dux at Kambrya College with an ATAR of 99.15 is Kemuel Hutasoit.
Kemuel aims to study undergraduate medicine in Monash next year, with the long-term goal of leaving a lasting impact on healthcare.

Katayoun Mansourian is the 2024 dux of Kew High School, with an ATAR of 99.3.

Caleb is interested in a career in dentistry.

Jacqueline Deng is Korowa Anglican Girls’ School’s dux of 2024, receiving an ATAR score of 99.9 and two perfect scores of 50 in physics and chemistry.

Olivia Hedge is Kyneton High School’s dux of 2024, with an ATAR of 97.05.
Olivia said she would like to study medicine or biomedicine next year.

Lauriston Girls’ School
Jiaying (Joy) Shen is Lauriston Girls’ School’s dux of 2024.
She scored an ATAR of 99.65.
Other high achievers were Pippa Caillard, Zixin (Coco) Zhou and Xintian (Bella) Li who achieved ATARS of 99 plus.
Lavalla Catholic College
Rohini Arun Kumar is Lavalla Catholic College’s dux for 2024.
She received an ATAR score of 98.35, including a perfect study score of 50 in biology.
In 2025, Rohini hopes to study medicine at university and forge a successful career helping others with their health and wellbeing.
College principal Ryan Greer said the community was proud of Rohini and the rest of the 2024 graduates.
“Whilst Rohini’s results are incredibly pleasing, she is also an exceptional young person who is caring, kind and compassionate towards others,” Mr Greer said.

Leongatha Secondary College
The dux of Leongatha Secondary College was Alana Lopez Freeman who achieved an ATAR of 94.15, placing her among the top 17 per cent of students statewide.
Alana said it was important to prioritise each subject equally.
“Maths was a big struggle for me but I tried my best to not give up when things were going a bit poorly,” she said.
She advised other students to always ask questions.
“That is a big thing that a lot of students shy away from in class,” Alana said.
“(And) not overworking yourself — you need to keep a healthy balance.
“As I was also a college leader, the balance between friendship, schoolwork, work and my college leader duties proved to be busy, but I always tried to keep a good balance.”
Alana said her plans for the future were to study a biomedical science degree at La Trobe University.
“I’m really excited to be heading into an area that I am extremely passionate about and from there will let it shape my future career directions,” she said.
Lilydale Heights College
Lily-Rose Booth has been named dux of Lilydale Heights College with an ATAR of 96.1.
Lily has also been awarded a scholarship to the University of Melbourne.
Lilydale High School
Olivia Bradshaw is the 2024 dux of Lilydale High School, with an ATAR score of 97.3.
Olivia will be studying at ANU in Canberra, majoring in political science.
“With my best subject this year being Australian politics, I cannot wait to see what I will learn up in the capital. I’m passionate about young people, democracy and public education and aspire to one day enact real, meaningful change,” she said.
Loreto College Ballarat
Georgia Wemyss, who achieved an ATAR of 99.3, has been named the 2024 Loreto College VCE dux.
Madeline Pierce was named the school’s 2024 VCE-VM high achiever.
Loreto Mandeville Hall
The dux of Loreto Mandeville Hall in Toorak was Emma Abusah, who achieved an ATAR score of 99.80.
Lorne P-12 College
Phoenix Dixon has been named the 2024 dux of Lorne P-12 College, scoring an ATAR of 95.05.
Lowanna College
Brooke Hunter is Lowanna College’s dux of 2024, receiving an ATAR score of 91.55.
Brooke said she was surprised with her VCE result.
“It was a weird feeling after exams, they were harder than I expected,” she said.
“I didn’t think I would do that well, and I felt relieved (when exams finished).”
She said her mum was just as excited as she was.
In the near future, Brooke plans to work, travel and study a degree in the sporting field at university.
Runner up dux was Ben Hall, who received an ATAR score of 90.1.
Acting college principal Julia Niamh said the VCE results were a true reflection of the outstanding effort and determination shown by all students throughout the year.

The 2024 dux of Lyndale Secondary College was Prerana Preeju, who received an ATAR score of 96.5.
Prerana said she hoped to dedicate her skills and passion to the fields of nursing and midwifery, with the aim of helping as many people as she could.

Charlie said he was looking forward to expanding his knowledge at university next year.

William Edgar is Marian College Ararat’s dux of 2024.
He received an ATAR score of 93.75.
William is planning to take a gap year in 2025 and work on local farms.
Beyond that, he hopes to study an engineering degree at Monash University.
Marian College Myrtleford
Jaz Rossato is Marian College’s dux of 2024, who achieved an ATAR of 97.05.
College principal Cath Watter said Jaz not only excelled in her academic studies, but also contributed across all areas of school life.

Marymede Catholic College’s dux of 2024 was Larissa Blazevski, who achieved an ATAR score of 94.55.
Larissa said she was happy with her score when she found out in the morning.
“Next year, I am hoping to go to the University of Melbourne to study a Bachelor of Science,” she said.
“My passion lies in biological sciences, and I am hoping to go into a research field.”

Jen MacDonald was Mater Christi College’s dux of 2024, with an ATAR of 99.65.
Jen gained early entry into the Australian National University (ANU) in September this year to study a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours.
She said she aspires to specialise in neuropsychology and is considering both clinical and research applications.
Matthew Flinders Girls Secondary College
This year’s Matthew Flinders dux was Sonnet (Radhika) Pandit, with a score of 99.65.
Mazenod College
Avinda Wickramaratne has been named the dux of Mazenod College, receiving an impressive 99.60 ATAR.
Avinda hopes to pursue further studies in the field of medicine or biomedicine, driven by a passion for science and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Koorie student Steph Armstrong was the top student at McClelland College with an ATAR of 95.55.
In addition to her VCE subjects, Steph also completed a university enhancement subject through La Trobe University focusing on Indigenous Studies, for which she has achieved exemplary results.
Steph, a Palawa woman, hopes to pursue journalism through an arts and media double degree at Monash.
McKinnon Secondary College
The McKinnon Secondary College dux for 2024 is Katherine Nguyen, who achieved a perfect ATAR score of 99.95.
Melba College
Melba College is celebrating its class of 2024 after the Year 12s achieved the Croydon school’s highest ever result after receiving a median ATAR of 31.
Delaney Ball was named dux after attaining an ATAR of 97.25.
Melbourne Girls College
Melbourne Girls College is celebrating the achievements of all its Year 12 students.

The school named Yuejiao Gao as dux for the class of 2024 after she received an ATAR of 99.8.
Melbourne Girls Grammar
Yier Hong was named the dux of Melbourne Girls Grammar with an ATAR of 99.9.
Yier completed year 12 mathematical methods and classical studies in Year 11, receiving a perfect score for classical studies and a VCE Premier’s Award.
This year, she studied English language, specialist mathematics, latin and physics.
Yier chose to study three STEM subjects as she “always preferred the logical and procedural aspects of mathematics and physics”.
She also “wanted a good balance of subjects”.
The school’s dux secunda is Alisha Nair with a score of 99.8.
Alisha pursued an array of subjects: mathematical methods, specialist mathematics, chemistry, english language, french, and latin.
Melbourne Grammar School
A trio of Melbourne Grammar School students have scored the highest ATAR possible.
Albert Chen, Alex Kartel, Sanjeet Sampath attained the top possible ATAR of 99.95, a distinction achieved by only 41 students in the State.
A further 22 students earned an ATAR of 99 or above, placing them in the top 1 per cent in Victoria.
Principal Philip Grutzner said while the VCE results were a “significant milestone” they were only one measure of success.
“The qualities that truly define the class of 2024 — their work ethic, character, and relationships — will shape their futures far more profoundly than any number,” he said.
Melbourne High School
Four students received perfect scores at Melbourne High School, with Nathan Wong named dux.
Patrick Phan was dux secunda while Rohan Green and Vaibhav Rao also received ATARs of 99.95.
Mercy College
Carla Rizzo is Mercy College’s dux of 2024.
Mercy Regional College
Charlotte Bennett is the Mercy Regional College dux after receiving an ATAR of 98.9.
She is hoping to be accepted to Swinburne to a double degree in Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Media Communications.
“I would like to thank all the staff and everyone who helped me. I couldn’t have achieved it without everyone’s support,” she said.

Mentone Girls Grammar School is celebrating the phenomenal achievements of its 79 Year 12 students after three-quarters of the VCE cohort ranked in the top 20 per cent of the nation.
The single sex private school achieved a median ATAR of 89.4 and a median study score of 36.
Meagan Ngo was named dux after achieving an ATAR of 99.85 and dux secundus was Emily Cullen with an ATAR of 99.5.

With a 98.15 ATAR, Anakin Simonson is the 2024 dux at Mernda Central College.
Mr Simonson scored above 41 in all six subjects studied and will do a Bachelor of Biomedicine at Melbourne Uni in 2025.
Methodist Ladies’ College
MLC’s dux is Bridget Davis, who achieved a perfect score of 99.95
With aspirations to pursue commerce at the University of Melbourne, Bridget hopes to incorporate her love for maths and languages by undertaking a concurrent Diploma of anguages in French or Latin.
Inspired by the diverse interests of her peers at MLC, she is also eager to expand her knowledge in subjects such as history and politics.
“That’s what I’d like to do next year: broaden my horizon so I have a more expansive knowledge of the world.”

Sebastian Ioanndis is Mildura Senior College dux for 2024 with an ATAR of 98.05.

The Monivae College dux is Millie Kruger.
The Hamilton school said Millie had shown excellence and diligence in her studies and shone in her role as Mitchell House Co-Captain.
Millie is planning to study medical imaging in 2025.

Storm Byrne Wiid has been named the dux of Monterey Secondary College.
Montmorency Secondary College
Harrison Abbott is Montmorency Secondary College’s dux of 2024, receiving an ATAR score of 98.5.
Principal Frances Ibbott said Harrison was a first nations student who demonstrated a maturity “far beyond his age”.
He hopes to study English and theatre studies at the University of Melbourne in the future.
“Harrison has an eye on law or journalism but is open to changing his career path in the coming years,” Ms Ibbott said.
His advice to other students was to work hard, complete the practice questions, get feedback, and ask for help if students don’t understand the feedback.
“Harrison would like to thank his mother and the English faculty at Montmorency Secondary College,” Ms Ibbott said.
“As a first nations student, Harrison really enjoyed the crafting text unit of VCE English, which encourages thinking, not just writing.”
The unit encouraged him to consider his thoughts deeply and it enabled him to connect to his first nations background for the first time, she said.
“Harrison pointed to advice from his English teacher and mentor group teacher on what to expect in year 12,” Ms Ibbott said.
“Her advice was not to lurch from SAC to SAC like a boat in the ocean, look ahead and see the waves coming before they hit.”
Mooroolbark College
Mooroolbark College proudly revealed its VCE results on Thursday afternoon.
The Yarra Ranges school praised the hard work, dedication and achievements of its Year 12 students.
The dux for the school’s class of 2024 was Liam Price who achieved an ATAR of 94.4.

Junze (Oliver) Huang has been named dux of Mordialloc College with an ATAR of 99.85. He achieved a perfect 50 in both English and psychology as well as achieving a 50 in accounting in 2023.
Congratulations also goes to dux proximus Charlotte Zaph with an ATAR of 99.15 including a perfect 50 in art making and exhibiting.

Benn Schmidt is Mornington Secondary College’s dux of 2024, receiving an ATAR score of 97.7.

Mount Erin College’s dux of 2024 was Kirsten Harkness, who achieved an ATAR score of 99.75 — the highest a student at the school has ever achieved.
Principal Jenni Hodgins said Kirsten was an exceptional student who consistently demonstrated outstanding academic performance as well as leadership as a college captain.
“Ranked with a 99.75 ATAR, this year Kirsten topped her cohort in English, sociology and legal studies as well as receiving a perfect score for psychology,” she said.
She also received a 40+ score in French last year.
Kirsten is hoping to study a Bachelor of Law and Arts in 2025.
“She is passionate about becoming a lawyer or diplomat and wishes to become a strong advocate for marginalised groups and individuals,” Ms Hodgins said.
“Given the love for French that she developed throughout her VCE, she hopes to continue this and one day work in the legal sector in France.”

Faith Faraon took out the dux this year at Northern Bay College, with an ATAR of 95.15.
Faith said she checked her scores online just after breakfast, and was in shock.
“I was expecting somewhere in the 70s or 80s, so I was so surprised,” she said.
Faith studied biology, art creative studies, general math, a vet subject in lab skills and English.
“I was thinking RMIT or Deakin to study a Bachelor of Science,” she said.
Norwood Secondary College
With a score of 97.1, Jessica McPhee is Norwood Secondary College’s dux for 2024.
Jessica hopes to be a lawyer and will aim to study a double degree of arts and law at Monash University next year.
Notre Dame College
Notre Dame College Year 12s are being encouraged to put up their feet and enjoy some study free time with friends and family after receiving their VCE results.
The school named Emelia Chrys as its dux after she achieved an ATAR of 98.8 and also acknowledged other high achievers including Gemma Eade, Kaedyn Dagger, Tess Maloney, Diaz Barzen, Emilia Latorre, Dan Klein, Cass Parker, Erica Shaw and Chloe Andonoudis.

Despite battling chronic illness throughout the year, Sienna Lee has been named the dux of Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School with a perfect score of 99.95.
Sienna said her teachers were invaluable in her ability to manage her workload with the care that she required and over time, the highs outweighed the lows.
Sienna has a very strong interest in neurology after being treated by a neurologist throughout her illness and is keen to provide that same care to her own patients when the time comes.
Vansh Agarwal and Ivy Zhang achieved scores of 99.90 in a very strong year for the school.
Phoenix P-12 Community College
William Kynoch (VCE) and Ashley Stevens (VM) are the 2024 Phoenix P-12 Community College duces.

Zoe Stokes has been named the 2024 dux of Plenty Valley Christian College, with an ATAR of 98.55.
Point Cook Senior Secondary College
Avesta Hosseini is the 2024 dux at Point Cook Secondary College with a score of 98.20.
The high-achiever arrived in Australia from Iran in 2022 and achieved a perfect score of 50 in chemistry.
Avesta hopes to study medicine or bio-medical science at Monash University.
Portland Secondary College
Portland Secondary College’s dux is Gina Shemeld.
Gina is looking to go into sciences for her undergraduate course, with the possibility of exploring medicine in the future.
Prahran High School
Prahran High school’s inaugural dux is Sam Lawson who received a score of 97.05.
Sam is honoured to be the school’s first ever dux and hopes to pursue a double degree at Monash University.
“To be Prahran’s inaugural dux is such a huge honour, and I could not have done it without the unique opportunities and support the school has provided me with,” he said.
“I look forward to hopefully pursuing a double degree in commerce/science at Monash University next year, learning about my interests in econometrics and quantum physics.”
Presbyterian Ladies College
Three students at PLC were named duces in 2024, all achieving scores of 99.90: Jialin (Karlyn) Du, Ruihan (Rebecca) Fang and Peiyan (Penny) Guo.
Principal Cheryl Penberthy commented: “This year’s results are a testament to the hard work, resilience, and determination of our students, as well as the unwavering support and dedication of their families and teachers.”

In terms of their plans for 2025, Rebecca is currently open to many options but has been considering Monash for a double degree in law and engineering.
Penny is planning to either study medicine or a double degree of engineering and science, also at Monash University.
Karlyn is excited about a few different opportunities for further study next year.

Darcy Hersbach is the Richmond High School dux for 2024 with a score 99.45.
In 2025 Darcy hopes to study a bachelor of Science at Melbourne University, followed by a Masters of Engineering in software or mechatronics.
He aims to work in cutting edge research and development of technologies for both science and entertainment.

The Rochester Secondary College dux for 2024 is Jude Ryan who achieved a score of 95.05.
Jude will either study a Bachelor of Agriculture or a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at LaTrobe University in 2025.

Lily Sun is Ruyton Girls’ School dux for 2024 with a perfect score of 99.95.

Diya Anoop is Sacré Cœur’s dux for 2024 after achieving a score of 99.90.

A school spokeswoman said Lucien was a “well-rounded and diligent student, she demonstrated unwavering dedication to her studies and exhibited enthusiasm in all her endeavours”.

Rachel said when she finally got to open her results at 7am on Thursday, she was “absolutely over the moon”.

He was one of eight students at the school to record an ATAR in the 90s, with 11 landing in the 80s.

Carla Vogelsan is the 2024 dux of Victory Lutheran College, with an ATAR of 96.7.
Viewbank College
Andre Canales is the dux of Viewbank College, receiving an ATAR of 99.6.
He said he was mostly tired and got little sleep on Wednesday night, but was “extremely happy” with his result.
Andre is seeking an academic scholarship to, and hopes to play basketball at, a US college where he expects to major in maths.
Virtual School Victoria
Virtual School Victoria’s dux is Makenzie White.
She received an ATAR of 92.1.
At a graduation dinner speech, she said her school prioritised “collective joy and achievement in learning”.

Yarra Valley Grammar
Adrian Leong is the 2024 dux of Yarra Valley Grammar, with an ATAR of 99.95 and a perfect study score of 50 in English.
Adrian hopes to study medicine at Monash next year and, at this point, is considering specialising in ophthalmology in the future.
He completed work experience at a paediatric ophthalmology clinic in Year 10, which sparked his interest.
Yarrawonga College P-12
Jenna Thorp is the 2024 dux of Yarrawonga College P-12.
She achieved an ATAR of 87.3 and hopes to study Industrial Design (Honours) at RMIT.
Jenna plans to take a gap year in 2025 in order to save some money for her relocation to, and study in, Melbourne.
She said she was excited and happy with her result.

Haylee is the 2024 dux of Yea High School.

The dux of Yeshivah College was Gabe Houseman who achieved an ATAR of 99.6.
