Two women assaulted by man on bus in Warrnambool, Police appeal for information

Two women have been assaulted by a man on a V/Line bus in Warrnambool. Police are now calling for help to find him.

What happens after a sexual assault?

Police are on hunt for a man who attacked a woman and her friend on a bus in Warrnambool.

The woman was with her friends when she boarded the V/Line bus just before 6pm on May 12, and noticed the man sitting four rows from the back of the vehicle.

The man made his way closer to the group and sat behind the woman.

Moments after the man started banging his head on the seat in front of him which caused the group to turn around and see what was happening.

A couple of minutes later, the woman was sexually assaulted by the man as he groped her right breast, to which she reacted, took his hand off her body and stood up.

He then hit one of the other women’s heads as the first woman reported the attack to the bus driver.

The Caucasian man — described as being in his 40s or 50s with grey shoulder length hair and a beard — got off the bus at the Terang Station.

He was wearing a black zip-up hoodie, jeans and DC sneakers.
