Three racehorses die in Bayles crash

Three racehorses trained by a prominent Victorian stable have been killed in a fatal crash in the southeast of Victoria.
Police are investigating a crash on Tynong-Bayles Rd in Bayles on Monday where a Toyota Land Cruiser towing a trailer with three horses inside crashed about 9.50am.
The Herald Sun understands the horses were trained by the Moody Racing stable.
It’s believed two horses died at the scene, with the third euthanised after suffering serious injuries.
The driver, a 42-year-old Yallourn North man, was not injured and is expected to be charged on summons with driving offences.
Moody Racing did not comment when approached.
