Some of Victorian Premier Cricket’s best players were at their brutal best at the weekend.

Casey South Melbourne star Luke Manders produced one of the best innings of the season while just one player claimed a five-wicket haul.

Here is our Team of the Week.

DYLAN BRASHER (Footscray)

Put together his second 50 in several days, with 82 at the top of the order in his side’s win over Geelong. Brasher’s 103-ball stay at the crease included nine boundaries as his side ran out six-wicket winners.

LUKE MANDERS (Casey South Melbourne)

Manders produced as good an innings we’ll see all season with 150 runs from 162 balls as his side scored a big win over Camberwell Magpies. Manders hit the ball to all parts of the ground with 16 fours and 6 sixes.

WILL LOVELL (St Kilda)

The only player to claim a five-wicket haul in Premier Firsts on Saturday. Lovell finished with season best figures of 5-35.
