Narre Warren’s most wanted: Casey police blitz to round up suspected crooks

Police are hunting alleged crims suspected of crimes including robbery and deception in Melbourne’s southeast, and appealing to them to “peacefully” turn themselves in. Do you know where they’re hiding?

Narre Warren police have named their most wanted alleged crooks who have so far evaded arrest.

The alleged criminal quintet from Narre Warren, Cranbourne North, Doveton and Endeavour Hills are wanted by the Casey Crime Investigation Unit and Crime Stoppers for dozens of unsolved crimes, including robbery, theft and criminal damage.

Police are hunting Heather Calgaret, 28, from Doveton, who has outstanding warrants for robbery, criminal damage, thefts and deception charges.

Jake Kendal, 25, and Jayson Weegink, 26, both from Cranbourne North, each have several outstanding warrants for charges of theft from cars.

Meanwhile, Crime Stoppers is hoping the community will help track down Brad Dorwood, 36, who hangs out in Endeavour Hills and Doveton and has a hattrick of warrants for alleged drug offences; and Janelle Peters, 24, wanted for five alleged drug and driving offences, who is known to frequent Narre Warren and Clayton South.

Casey CIU detective Senior Sergeant Trevor Smith said police spent “considerable time” hunting down suspects.

“(These are) people who are wanted on outstanding warrants or we are looking for to question for other criminal matters,” he said.

“The search for these fugitives often causes disruption and sometime heartache to the family and friends of people involved.

“I appeal for these fugitives to contact police and arrange for a peaceful and civil arrest process where they can even hand themselves into the police station nearest where they live.”
