An ice addict allegedly threatened to cut the breasts off a woman he met on an online dating site and told her to urinate in a bottle during a horrifying ordeal, a court has heard.

Steven Green is accused of unleashing a terrifying attack on January 20 after his girlfriend, whom he’d met four months prior on Plenty Of Fish.com, told him the relationship was no good.

The Frankston Magistrates Court heard the daily ice and cannabis abuser allegedly yanked the 26-year-old victim by the hair as she packed her bags in a Cranbourne bedroom and said he would keep her inside and that she had to urinate in a bottle.

Police allege Green, who is unemployed, then made his girlfriend sit on the edge of his bed before screaming derogatory names at her including “dog, s*** and piece of s***” before stabbing her in the back of the head with a toothbrush.

Green then allegedly told the woman he hated her so much and “couldn’t wait to kill” her before forcing her to the ground and laying punches into the back of her head.

The prosecution alleges the woman was later woken by Green pouring water over her head before he continued the terrifying assault.

“The accused laid the victim back on the bed and stood over her with a kitchen knife in his hand (before) kneeling over the victim so she couldn’t move and holding the knife to left side of the victim’s temple,” the prosecution said.

“The accused then pointed the blade to the centre of the victim’s head …(he told her) I’m going to kill you, I’m going to stab you in the head … I’m going to cut your t*** off and mangle your face so no one will recognise you.”

Police allege Green then told the woman he hoped she would fall into a coma and die.

The woman made a getaway to Cranbourne Police Station on the morning of January 21 after she offered to buy the accused painkillers when he told her he had been punching himself in the knees so he could not hit her anymore.

She was taken to Frankston Hospital where staff drained blood out of her swollen right ear and conducted head scans as a result of blacking out during the ordeal.

Police arrested Green at his address about 7.20am and allegedly found two small bags of cannabis and a kitchen knife jammed underneath his mattress.

His charges include unlawful assault, make threat to kill, intentionally cause injury, recklessly cause injury, unlawful assault with a weapon, possess drug of dependence.

The court heard the woman was suffering heightened anxiety to a point where her hair was starting to fall out as a result of the alleged attack.

Green’s lawyer Jackson McLeod said his client previously suffered from depression and was subjected to family violence by an ex step-father.

And despite his mother risking her Dandenong South house as part of a $540,000 surety to bail Green, magistrate Timothy Gattuso said he was too much of a risk to the community.

“Holding a knife to the head of the victim and threatening to kill (her) … jurisdiction will have to be seriously considered,” Mr Gattuso said.

“The nature and seriousness of this offending is extremely high.”

Green was remanded and will reappear on April 29.
