A TEENAGE tarmac terror who led police on a sprint down speed-humped suburban streets was driving so dangerously officers had to call off the pursuit.
Reckless racer Jayden Gee-Unsworth, who had been travelling at over 90km/h along 50km/h side streets, cried as he was jailed for two months after pleading guilty to a range of serious driving offences at Frankston Magistrates’ Court on September 25.

HOON’S APRIL FOOLISH BURNOUT IN KEYSBOROUGH
The 19-year-old Frankston learner driver was spotted driving his Falcon in Carrums Downs late at night on June 2.
Police watched as he pulled into the Sands Tavern hotel car park at a fast speed and then tear out again into William Rd.
Police activated lights and sirens but Gee-Unsworth accelerated, nearly losing control as he sped away.
He reached speeds of 90-100km/h along several side streets, without slowing down for speed humps, and swerving onto the wrong side of the road so that police were forced to abandon their chase because it became too dangerous.

Shortly afterwards another police unit blocked him at a roundabout and he was found to be in an unregistered car, without L-plates or an accompanied driver.
The car, which he said he had just bought, was impounded.
In court his defence lawyer said the “penny had dropped” regarding his “inexcusable” driving and he had sold the car to avoid “succumbing to temptation”.
He asked for a no-conviction sentence as he was a young man who had learnt from his “rampant stupidity”.
But magistrate Rodney Crisp said an example needed to be set and said a no-conviction disposition was a “nonsense”.
“Being pursued by police down a suburban street at 90km/h … there is no excuse whatsoever,” Mr Crisp said.
“He flouted police direction …. he did all he could to tempt fate.”
Gee-Unsworth was jailed for two months, fined $1000 and disqualified from driving for 18 months.
His lawyer flagged he would appeal the sentence.
