An ex-army neo-Nazi gun nut and a GHB junkie who violently attacked a mother and daughter in a Woolies car park are two of the most dangerous drug offenders in the southeast.

Jake Schultz

An ex-army serviceman who was exposed as a neo-Nazi when a counter-terrorism unit raided his house had a long history of drug-driving offences before political leanings were revealed

Jake Schultz, 30, pleaded guilty in Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on February 22 to a raft array of charges, including drug driving to illegally possessing weapons.

The court heard Schultz left the army in 2021, when he spiralled into a wave of offending.

The court heard the SOG conducted a raid on Schultz’s Tooradin home on January 13, 2022, and found two homemade revolvers, knuckle dusters, several rounds of ammunition as well as white supremacist propaganda strewn throughout the property.

When asked why he had the homemade revolvers and other weapons, Schultz said it was for “self defence”.

“I made it, for when the Japs or the Chinese come running from the f-----g sky one day,” he said.

“I’m a neo-Nazi, f-----g oath.”

The court heard that Schultz had come to the attention of police for multiple drug driving offences just after he left the army in 2021.

Schultz pleaded guilty to several assault, drug and driving related charges, including an instance where he verbally abused a service station staff member before breaking a counter top plastic perspex to steal cigarettes and a violent altercation where he threatened to kill his next door neighbour.

The court heard Schultz was also a repeat offender for driving while disqualified and dangerous driving.

Schultz was caught driving with meth in his system on multiple occasions, the court heard.

On September 10 in 2021, police saw Schultz riding a black Harley Davidson motorcycle in Carrum Downs, where one of the headlights was out.

When officers signalled for him to pull over, the court heard Schultz accelerated heavily, travelling at 177km/h in a 90km/h zone.

Police followed him and saw him travel through a red light, almost colliding with another vehicle in the intersection, before he again accelerated and was recorded doing 164km/h in a 100 km/h zone.

Later in the interview, he admitted to being the rider despite having a disqualified licence and claimed the speedometer “didn’t work” when questioned about his speed.

Schultz was also caught on more than five occasions driving suspended with methamphetamines in his system.

Schultz was sentenced and released from police custody on March 14, into a medical clinic for drug and alcohol rehabilitation and will remain under mental health monitoring.

His licence was disqualified for 12 months for the driving charges and he will have to complete 150 hours of unpaid community work.

Lauren Delves

A Pakenham woman who violently assaulted and threatened to kill a mother and daughter in a supermarket car park has told a court she is “ashamed” of her behaviour.

Lauren Delves, 29, pleaded guilty in the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on January 23 to assault and making threats to kill, after a terrifying attack on two women in 2022.

Delves attacked the two woman outside Lakeside Woolies in 2022.

The court heard the victims had encountered an extremely strung-out Delves inside the Lakeside Woolworths store in Pakenham on June 26, before seeing her again in the car park.

Delves, in a Toyota Kluger, almost hit the 18-year-old victim before launching into a torrent of abuse out of the car window saying “I can hear you sl-t, say it my face you f--king sl-t.”

The court heard she then “erratically” drove through the car park, following the mother and daughter to their car.

She parked the Kluger, narrowly missing the victims, before getting out and continuing her abusive rant, before it turned physical when the 52-year-old mother began to film Delves’ attack.

Delves began swinging her hand at the victim, knocking her phone to the ground.

The court heard she continued following the victims, screaming at them as they tried to get away.

“I’m going to follow you home sl-t, I’m going to f--king kill you and your whole family,” she said.

Delves then turned on the teenager, punching her in the face several times, leaving her with facial injuries, before also damaging the victim’s car.

The terrifying attack continued until bystanders intervened.

Delves admitted to being “very heavily drug affected” at the time and submitted a handwritten apology letter to the court.

Delves said she was “extremely remorseful” for her actions.

Magistrate Nunzio La Rosa ordered Delves to complete a 24-month community corrections order with conviction.
