Fountain Gate shopping centre scene of terrifying robbery of boy at knifepoint by teen gang
POLICE have released CCTV images of three teens believed to have robbed a young boy and threatened him with a knife at Narre Warren’s Fountain Gate shopping centre.

A YOUNG boy was threatened by a teen gang with a knife during a terrifying armed robbery at Fountain Gate shopping centre.
The 16-year-old from Officer was waiting for his parents in the centre’s car park outside the food court when the brazen trio confronted him just after 4pm on July 22.
Casey crime investigation unit Senior Constable Jo MacDonald said one of the teenage boys brandished a knife and demanded cash from the boy.
“The victim handed over cash and the three offenders ran from the car park,” she said.
The thugs were last seen running south on Magid Drive towards the Princes Highway.

The boy was not hurt in the attack.
All three are believed to be aged about 15 or 16 years old.
One was of European appearance, about 173cm tall with a stocky build.
The second teen was of African appearance, about 175cm tall with a slim build.
The third was also of African appearance, about 168cm tall with a slim build.
All three boys were wearing dark clothing with dark hoods or beanies.
The attack follows a four-day police blitz in May with saw 24 thieves and thugs — the majority under 18 — arrested at Westfield Fountain Gate and Cranbourne Park shopping centres.
And in April, another teenage boy, 13, was robbed by five men armed with hunting knives and a taser while waiting for a bus at Fountain Gate on Anzac Day.
