A careless crook has again been caught with contraband in a court complex — this time having heroin and cannabis in her handbag.
The woman was pinged by Dandenong Magistrates’ Court security with small quantities of drugs as she went in to support her son.
But hadn’t learnt her lesson from last year, when she was nabbed with a weapon at the same court.

NUNCHUCK VIGILANTE IN COURT ON WEAPONS CHARGE
Daria Grancieri, of Hampton Park, pleaded guilty to two drug possession charges at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
She also admitted a previous fail to appear charge.
The court heard on July 13 this year Grancieri put her handbag through the Dandenong security scanner.
Alert guards noticed a vitamin container, and when they opened it found a small amount of cannabis and a small silver tin foil wrap of heroin.
Police officers were called over and she was arrested.
Grancieri told them she was there because her son had a court date that day.
She said she knew the drugs were in her bag but had “forgotten” to take them out.
She said she wanted to smoke the cannabis later, but that wasn’t going to happen as the drugs were seized.

Yesterday she represented herself, saying it was “just stupidity” to have not checked her bag before going in.
Magistrate Julie O’Donnell said Grancieri should have known better as she had been caught before trying to bring contraband into court.
In August 2017 she was caught with a weapon.
Grancieri was convicted and fined $600. The drugs will be destroyed.
