POLICE are hunting a firebug who torched a house on Father’s Day, destroying the entire contents, including a loved ones ashes.
They have put out the call for anyone who witnessed the suspicious Blairgowrie blaze on September 2 to come forward.

The fire broke out about 5:30pm at a house on Fawkner Ave.
Somerville CIU are hoping to hear from anyone in the area of Fawkner Ave, Langdon Ave, Hughes Rd and Point Nepean Rd, between Hughes and Stringer roads who saw anything suspicious.

Police are particularly interested in speaking to any motorists with dashcam footage of the roads between 5:30pm and 6:30pm.
