Two men arrested at Shell petrol station Ferntree Gully for alleged Kilsyth South death threats
A Hoppers Crossing man his offsider — all the way from the Northern Territory — were picked up by police at a suburban petrol station, in possession of a fake gun and accused of making death threats.

Two men, including one with an imitation handgun, were arrested at a petrol station after allegedly making death threats in Kilsyth South.
Croydon detective Senior Sergeant Jim Sutherland said officers were patrolling the area when found out about the alleged incident on police radio on Tuesday, August 18.
They heard a man had attended a house in Kilsyth South where he allegedly produced a handgun and demanded money to repay a debt.
The man then left the house with an offsider and said he would return later.
Officers were given a description of the man’s car and identified it when they passed the Shell service station on the corner of Stud and Ferntree Gully roads in Scoresby at 4.30pm.
They arrested a 31-year-old Hoppers Crossing man and his 29-year-old offsider from the Northern Territory.
Sen-Sgt Sutherland said a search of the Hoppers Crossing man found he was allegedly in possession of an imitation handgun.
He was charged with gun possession, threats to kill and bail offences and remanded to appear at Ringwood Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
Sen-Sgt Sutherland said the Northern Territory man was released without charges following questioning.
