Global discount retailer TK Maxx is set to open its 10th Victorian store in Forest Hill later this month.
The US shopping giant is setting up at Forest Hill Chase Shopping Centre on Canterbury Rd, in Big W’s former home on level two.
Doors to the huge 2000sq m store will open for the first time on Thursday, March 28 at 9am.

And it will be a race to get a look inside, with the first 4000 customers to score a free reusable tote bag.
The store will also be running a ‘Hidden Hangar competition’, where hundreds of dollars’ worth of gift cards to the popular company will be up for grabs on selected items within the store.
TK Maxx Australia spokesman Clare Willenberg said the chain was thrilled to be bringing its products to shoppers in Forest Hill.
“Our new store will be packed full of incredible finds for local bargain hunters,” she said.
“What’s more, the store will receive new deliveries several times a week with thousands of new items arriving, so there will always be something fresh and exciting to discover.”
TK Maxx offers a range of fashion for men, women and children, as well as accessories, luggage, beauty, toys, lingerie and homewares.
It aims to offer “big brands at small prices”, stocking a collection of labels and brands across its product range.
The Forest Hill store will be TK Maxx’s 45th in the country since it made its debut in Australia in 2017.
It will be open from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Wednesday, from 9am to 9pm on Thursday and Friday, and from 9am to 5pm on Saturday.

On Sundays and public holidays the store will be open from 10am to 5pm.
About 50 staff will be employed at the store.
TK Maxx’s other Victorian stores can be found at Broadmeadows, Craigieburn, Dandenong, Docklands, Fountain Gate, Frankston, Heidelberg, Moorabbin and Northland.
