Seagal conducted an hour-long class on the Aikido Martial Arts moves, working individually with the attendees.
One of Seagal’s famous students will also train at the gym next week — former UFC Champion Anderson Silva.
The mixed martial arts legend will be at Hammer’s Gym at 6pm on Monday, February 11 for his only Melbourne training seminar.
He will be available to meet and greet any fan, and will test the skills of a lucky few.
Hammer’s Gym managing director Mark Hammer Castagnini said he was very proud to be able to host the legends at the gym.
But they’re not the first Hollywood greats to train at the fitness centre.
In recent years, Hammer’s Gym and Mark Castagnini have hosted and trained with leading Martial Arts practitioners, actors and UFC legends Dolph Lungdren, Georges Saint Pierre, Michael Jai White, Scott Adkins, Chuck Liddell, Royce Gracie and Alister Overeen.
Mark has also been training V8 Super Cars driver David Reynolds in Martial Arts for the past five years to complement the celebrity’s fitness and improve his reaction time when driving.
