Mooroolbark: Duo arrested in Holmes Road after alleged drug discovery
Police allegedly uncovered some unusual items along with a variety of drugs when they pulled over a car in Mooroolbark.

Two people have been arrested after drugs, cash and snapped off exhaust pipes were allegedly discovered inside a car in Mooroolbark.
Croydon detective Acting Senior Sergeant Steve Angus said officers first spotted a duo near Main St, Croydon about 9.30pm on November 25.
Officers then followed a car to Holmes Rd Mooroolbark and pulled it over, where they conducted a search and allegedly found a variety of drugs inside.
Sen-Sgt Angus said the stash allegedly included $1500 of cocaine, $300 of cannabis, a gram of ketamine and prescription drugs.
He said officers also allegedly found two exhaust pipes and catalytic converters, along with $2300 cash.
The driver, a 25-year-old Mooroolbark man and his passenger, an 18-year-old Kilsyth woman, were both arrested.
Sen-Sgt Angus said the man was charged with alleged drug trafficking and possession, allegedly dealing with proceeds of crime and allegedly committing indictable offences while on bail.
He was remanded to face the Ringwood Magistrates’ Court at a later date, while the woman was released pending further inquiries.
