THE hunt is on to find an unsuspecting lotto winner in the Yarra Valley who is $2 million richer but does not realise it yet.
The mystery Tattslotto winner, who is one of two division one winners from the Saturday, April 21 draw, still does not have a clue they’ve won $2,041,916 after buying their ticket at Lilydale Village Lotto & News on Anderson St.
Despite the entry being registered to a Tatts card, Tatts officials have been unable to make contact with the winner on the contact details provided.
Lilydale Village Lotto & News owner Dhaval Shah said he was thrilled to have sold another division one winning entry.
“We sold a division one winning entry just last month as part of a group syndicate and now we’ve sold another one,” Mr Shah said.
“This is our first non-syndicate division one winning entry since we took the store over three years ago.
“We’ve had lots of customers coming in and asking about the winner and seeing if it was them. We hope they come forward soon to claim their prize.”
Tatts spokeswoman Bronnie Spencer reminded players it was important to keep contact details on their Tatts card up to date.
“It is really important that you keep your contact details up to date so that we can contact you directly with the good news in the case of a win,” Ms Spencer said.
The six winning numbers in Tattslotto draw 3835 were 12, 17, 42, 31, 44 and 11, while the supplementary numbers were 19 and 3.
