How did you get involved:
I started by doing the stars class at my local skating rink and within a year I was competing in elementary competitions. Over the years I have competed in various different skating disciplines including freestyle, dance, precision teams and free dance. I’m currently only concentrating on freestyle.
Recent competitions:
— Victorian State Championships, May 4 and 5.
Recent awards:
Placing second at the Victorian State Championships. I’m currently training for the National Championships which will be held in Queensland in July. This year will be my seventh national competition.
What has been your biggest success?

Describe your training routine:
I’m currently training four to five times a week. My coach and I have been working really hard on the routine. Which consists of a three minute program full of spin, jumps and footwork.
What do you love most about your sport?
I love that it is a sport that is different to any other sport. I also work with the new up and coming junior skaters in our club and I really enjoy watching and helping them grow and improve their skill set with every lesson.
Describe the toughest challenge you’ve faced:
In 2016 when I got glandular fever and had my appendix out. I still managed to skate at national level and was also selected for the Australian team to go to Oceania’s, however, I was too sick to attend.
‘I couldn’t have done this without …’
I couldn’t have done this without the help of my current coach and past coaches. Debbie Kokonis, Emma Cash and Megan Colangelo and my club Lilydale Artistic Skating Club for all the support.
