WHETHER you enjoy fresh oysters and delectable Morton Bay bugs or Yarra Valley sourced pork belly and tender steak, Chirnside Park should be on your bucket list.

These are just a few of the amazing delicacies on offer at Carne Grill, one of three new venues to join Platinum Café and Bar, just across from Chirnside Park Shopping Centre.

The Maroondah Highway restaurant combines fine dining with fresh food feasting and joins The Precinct Bar and The Bosses Boots Café at Eastridge Entertainment Precinct.

EEP co-founder Steve Kepper said the precincts intention was to be the culinary gateway between Melbourne and the Yarra Valley.

“We’re also striving to create a new community hub and haven for local residents, a classy but approachable offering with high quality food, coffee and drinks, showcasing the best Yarra Valley produce,” Mr Kepper said.

“We want to ensure locals don’t have to travel to the CBD to get a great meal, no matter what the time of day.”

He said it was a relaxed meeting point for those travelling to the vineyard region, cyclist groups and motorist in particular, or a post-winery wind down.
