Taco Tuesday is somewhat of a tradition for Mexican lovers across Melbourne — and Brunswick East eatery Don Taco has taken it to the next level, catering especially for vegetarians.

They offer two sittings of unlimited tacos from their plant-based menu, at 6pm and 7.45pm, at the wallet-friendly price of $20 per person.

There’s six different flavours to choose from the menu with fillings ranging from fajita to vegan chicken and chorizo.

If you’re in the outer east, The Bungalow in Ringwood has plenty of Mexican goodness as part of its Bottomless Nights special.

For $65 per person, you can enjoy a three-course themed menu with your choice of jalapeño poppers and tostadas for entree, tacos or a burrito bowl for your main, and churros or chocolate mousse for desert.

While the food isn’t limitless, you do get two hours of free-flowing prosecco, cocktails, wine, spirits and tap beer, which can be enjoyed anytime in your slot between 5pm and 9pm.

PIZZA AND LOADED FRIES

The ageing Brandon Park shopping centre has got a shot in the arm with the arrival of coffee roaster and restaurant Young And Foolish, and pizza lovers have an extra special reason to check them out.

The Wheelers Hill eatery offers unlimited pizza for $21 per person on Thursday nights, with seven classic and two gourmet flavours to choose from.

You can chow down as much as you can in a two-hour sitting from 5pm to 8pm, and if you’ve got children under 12, they eat free.

If you and your mates have some competitive spirit and love your gaming, The Fortress at Melbourne’s Emporium shopping centre has you covered.

They have two packages on offer, both of which include bottomless pizza (six flavours), loaded fries (three varieties), your choice of games for two hours, and a round of drinks as well.

The $59 ‘Board not Bored’ package includes all the board games you can handle, while the $69 ‘Screens Not Dreams’ deal lets you cut loose on video games consoles like Xbox, Playstation4 and Nintendo Switch.

If you’re not content after two hours, you can double the fun and upgrade to a four-hour package for only $20 extra per person.

YUM CHA

The Chapel Street precinct has lots of bustling eateries perfect for a Sunday session or a bottomless brunch on weekends.

And if you’re after a tasty midafternoon or early evening feed after a sleep-in from a night of partying, global fusion restaurant Miss Kuku has a great offering with its Yum Cha special.

At $29 per person, you can chow down on unlimited mac and cheese squares, spring rolls and three different types of dumplings, or bao, tofu dishes and charred broccolini in a 90-minute sitting.

There’s special vegetarian versions available and a range of drink specials during their happy hour from 3pm to 7pm.

Bookings are highly recommended and there’s two choices of sittings at 2.15pm or 5.45pm.
