THE Yarra Valley’s famous tropical oasis is in bloom again, with thousands of lotuses and lilies for the eyes to feast.

With more than 50,000sq m of property, the Blue Lotus Water Garden has two lakes, dozens of ponds, ornate bridges, sculpture fountains and pathways lined with ornamental plants.

The garden has thousands of lotus flower blooms, and one of the world’s largest water lilies with pads that has previously grown to 1.7m in diameter.

The garden at 2628 Warburton Highway, Yarra Junction, is open every day from 10am-5pm until April 2. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and children under 16 are free.
