A Thomastown woman has died after a truck and car collided in Wollert.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said emergency services were called to Epping Rd just after 1pm Thursday after the vehicles collided.
She said the female driver of the car, a 69-year-old Thomastown woman, died at the scene.
The driver of the truck stopped at the scene and is helping police with their inquiries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined.
VicTraffic said Epping Rd was closed in both directions between Craigieburn Rd East and Bridge Inn Rd, with drivers urged to consider using the Hume Freeway and Donnybrook Rd or McDonalds Rd and Plenty Rd instead.
