A woman has been filmed stealing hand sanitiser through the bars of a locked Gladstone Parks Direct Chemist Outlet, with the bizarre crime caught by the store’s security camera.

Video footage, posted on the Direct Chemist Outlet’s Facebook page, shows the woman use a rod to push a bottle of hand sanitiser off a display table from behind drawn security bars across the front of the store.

She then pushes the bottle between the bars, pockets it and walks away.

“Considering what we are all going through, shame on you,” the post said.

“To the person that thinks its OK to steal the hand sanitiser that we supply for our customers, it’s not OK.”
