A sophisticated $1.4m drug lab has been unearthed at a factory in Melbourne’s north as police seized more than 560 plants.
Fawkner officers have charged two men after locating a large, sophisticated cannabis set-up at a factory on Wednesday.

Police executed a search warrant at a Leo St factory about 3pm as part of an ongoing drugs investigation where they located 566 cannabis plants, with an estimated street value of $1.4m.
Bodycam footage from the scene has been released which captured officers wheeling out multiple bins and sacks filled with unknown contents towards a truck before two men were arrested.
The pair, two St Albans men aged 20 and 45, were charged that afternoon.
They were charged with cultivating a large commercial quantity of cannabis.
The men were bailed and are set to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on July 30.
