Second Chance Animal Rescue is giving new meaning to the term sausage dog with its pet adoption drive.
The agency is hosting in store meet and greets at Bunnings stores around Victoria on the back of a new partnership with Dulux, which will see $1 from every eight litre tin of paint sold donated to the group as part of its jelly bean promotion.
Under the drive people will be able to meet adoption-ready cats and dogs at the stores on October 6.
The service also opened a new animal hospital in Craigieburn this month.
Rescue founder Marisa Debattista said the hospital would help provide support for animals whose owners could not afford it.
